The Wii U and the Switch are both really great! The Switch did really nicely with improving on the Wii U even though it lacks things like themes, colours and community features.

The reason why I like the switch better because you can play whichever way you want to prefer, especially on the tv, and you can even take it everywhere you go to play on it like it’s pretty much fun

Call me crazy. I love the wii u, but feel disappointed about some switch limitations and bugs.

With the wii u, games like paper mario actually used 2 screens simultaneously. You can't use the switch touch screen while it's presenting on tv.

The joycon drift issues are a real pain. And at ~60eur impossible to replace.

I don't mind the wii u being a bit bigger. It fits better in hand. And it's compatible with wii controllers.

Switch just really feels more like a gameboy to me. It's all about portability, which isn't a priority for me.

The Wii U also has a tv control button. You can use your Wii U to control the tv. Which is pretty cool and something the switch can’t do. For the switch I have to go grab my remote while with the Wii U can just replace my remote.

Wii U is underrated. I did if it was the original way people with loved it but it was just a sequel. It was what needed to happen before the switch came to light

Back in time 😂 I only bought the wii u because of botw, same goes to gta 5 when that were released. I only bought an Xbox to play gta 5 😆now I have a ps4 pro.
I am still waiting for the next console to release. I hope they will put out a new console together with botw 2!or a bit before.

Gamecube was cool! Mostly because of its controller. I don't like an controller and a screen at the same time. It's better to look forward to get home and play. Don't let kids bring all those switches to school. Everything needs balance. The world is depending to much on technology already. It's not healthy for kids. And I hope they will upgrade their graphics. Botw has such nice me mechanics and art style. Just make it a bit more vibrant and more cool shaders.

Hold up. Your conclusion is faulty. You have a bunch of criticisms for the wii u, but none for the switch because of your massive bias toward it. The switch is just as faulty, if not more faulty than the wii u, but that doesn't mean it's a bad console. Nor is the wii u a bad console just because in your mind, it is not as good as the switch.

The wii u has backwards compatibility with wii games, while the switch can only play retro or really old games that are made for earlier consoles. Also, wifi on the wii u doesn't cost money. I find it silly how you judge the wii u based on the screen on the gamepad when it is a home console that is designed for a television. There are tons of multi-player games on the wii u that take advantage of the two screen setup rather than using splitscreen, which is more annoying than you think. If you have a small television, than splitscreen can be unplayable. I have experienced this problem with splictscreen for myself. The wii u is also compatible with way more controllers than the switch is, such as the GameCube pro controller, the wii remote, the wii motion plus controllers, the wii pro controllers, the wii u pro controllers and a variety of third party controllers from very early consoles.

Your criticism on the bulkiness of the wii u gamepad sounds weird, especially when the wii u is much more comfortable in your hands than a controller that makes you move the right joycon with the bottom of your thumb and puts zr and zl right next to r and l.

Here's my opinion on the games situation. While the wii u certainly didn't have many third party games, they more than compensated for it with masterpieces made by Nintendo that I couldn't stop playing. Mario 3d world, Nintendo land and the various new zelda games for the wii u are what keeps me playing on this amazing console

GTA the trilogy is coming to the switch
