I see the U.S., Europe, South Africa and Japan represented. But where are the Artists from Latin America? (Mexico, Cuba, ect.). Are they not valued?...C'mon now...

In my opinion contemporary art is really the worst ever art the humanity can conceive. Not rules, not beauty, just colored in a chaotic and disordered way. My child could do the majority of that art. Just colored for Instagram is not art, for me it is totally mediatic for shining on Instagram, TikTok or an under 75 QI appearance.

I have a hard time understanding why some of these artists made the list. It feels as if the fine art world only recognizes art as great if it has no element of realism whatsoever.

Most of this artwork is trash. Before you say, “You don’t get it.” I get it and I stand behind my opinion. A lot of this work isn’t innovative, they are doodles that you do while on the phone waiting to speak to someone about your cable bill. Let’s stop giving these artist accolades like they are in grade school doing a holiday art project and let’s be real and tell them that their artwork sucks.

Who decided , other than Hockney, any of these "artists" were worth anything more than the cost of the material they used?
