Bought a Simplex and it came yesterday. Never metal detected before, have no permissions as yet either, but a friend has. So watching videos to learn.👍👍😉 I have watched metal detecting Tubers for years, most recently the Scottish Detectorist and he said that stars represnet a Scottish coin, that was on a hammered he found, but you would think it follows on this first coin. Very nice. Subbed.👍

Awesome what a lovely first find and a good condition Jetton well done Simplex. Your second find the buckle was an interesting find. Your mates hammered was a lovely find and in good condition. The Charles hammered was something else so huge a beauty well done to him. So chuffed for William finding his first hammered really pleased for him. Hi I'm thinking of starting down this path, any advice for a good starting detector don't want to go to expensive but I certainly want to be cheap either. perhaps a good middle-of-the-road.
Any advice would be gratefully received.
