i was wrong about gbb24

For me this gbb was the most boring and dull out of all, talking mainly about solos. Maybe it sounded different there, but live, for me, a lot of the decisions we're random AF, idk man, gbb is not what it used to be, sadly. Maybe its only my feelings, but anyway, i just wanted to say it out loud

I just kinda miss strong personalities and variations in style. The only category that worked for me was tag team. But especially solo was so boring. Everybody just does spammy tech. Or maybe I´m getting old

I watched the commentary from team Kaisetsu. This video made me want to watch it from Freddy and Kenny.

My personal forvorite gbb

it was meh indeed! for me the quality keeps dropping each year. i used to get excited for loops as much as solos, not anymore, 5 years ago it started to get so bad. solos were decent to great, but too much power emphasis, not enough music!! loop and producer loop was yet again edm only, too much techno and hard electro house, which wouldn't bother me if the tracks were actually good instead of electronic wall of sound with a heavy filtered kick. really, such a wasted category. guys literally trigger the mic with any one sound and suddenly they have a set of chord progression. this category could be amazing with all music styles and scapes.

The only problem is that the cameras don't show the judges' reactions like they used to, I hope they improve that.

You thought it would be mid because new talent? What's the point of listening to the same beatboxers do the same routines they've been doing since 2019? With half of them being worse at beatboxing than they were years ago.

The event was decent. I disagreed with some of the decisions (but that's standard for any competition) for me Osis was robbed and it was really convenient that the under 18's champ last year won the big one....almost like it was a narrative created for tik-tok etc....but I know saying that will make people mad. haha

Julard and Helium both sounded incredibly powerful! At leat on livestream audio. I like solo this year so much🔥

Matej trolled whole loop thats why i think loopstation was very bad this year

With the technological advancing and improving, I feel like Loop category needs more restrictions. Maybe limit it to the loopstation.
Why I'm saying this is because it's evolving into producer category. This was clearly demonstrated by Raje when he pushed a few buttons and walked around stage.

Every good solo gbb bring something new to beatboxing community and inspire people

gbb17 brought structure, gbb18 brought melody, gbb19 brought bass and gbb24 brought power

after watching this i immediately started beatboxing again in new ways, didn’t had anything like that in gbb21 or gbb23, this gbb was inspiring and pushed beatboxing forward

2019 and 2024 best gbb in my opinion
