Love learning about religions for some reason.
Ответить.
ОтветитьReligions harp their own glories
Call me to follow their own paths
Welcome me to follow their own ways
The essence of all was revealed
The seed of all was revealed
I walk on the True Way today
Win, Deity
Win, Mirk-to-Light Deity of Truth.
Is this a chart? Where can I buy this?
ОтветитьSaying mohammed ibn abdulwahhab promoted disassociation with the medival imams is a total lie, this can be known from his own writings, therefore he didn't create a new sect or a madhab!
ОтветитьNo Sect
ОтветитьMany information in this video is misleading.
ОтветитьSufism is perhaps Islam's most humble teaching. Roots go way back to Turkic shamanism. Mawlana Jalal-ad din Rumi, Yunus Emre and many other important names are from this teaching.
ОтветитьIt’s a shame you just took standard Islamic narrative as a given, though research as done by Dr. Jay Smith suggests that it is a fabrication.
Ответитьthis was amazing. nice work
ОтветитьIf this video were in Indonesia, I am 100% sure, what appeared under the comments would not be as beautiful and cool as this. I now understand why Indonesia is still a developing country..... and thank you, this video is very good 😊
ОтветитьPrinting of this chart is a notorious act!
ОтветитьVery great video and all but there is no need to bring rainn Wilson on this
ОтветитьMaliki
Handbell
Hanifi
Shafi
Are all the same denomination (su nni)
Denomination of islam?? Huhh??? Someone summarize what hes going to yap about im not watching this uneducation
ОтветитьYou can find ibahdis also in Algeria a very good portion
ОтветитьVery poor from the thumbnail alone. Islam doesn't have denominations, these are school of thoughts. And if you worship someone else or deny any prophet and/or don't accept prophet Muhammad saw as the last prophet then you're out of the fold of Islam. This is according to the Qur'an and sunnah. And allah knows best.
ОтветитьVery poor video , i have a collection of Islamic denominations as i have been collecting them for more then 15 years by now, i have the sects of Sufis , i have modern sects of Islam's , i have the sects and divisions of Salafi Movement and many other sects and schools ,, comparing the the other video about Christian denominations this video is poor , though to mention that there are many things said in the chrisitan denomination that i do not agree with and it is completely false , a convert to judaism should not speak about Christianity
ОтветитьIn islam, only one true god.. Allah / Elohim /ilaah...is worshipped..theology has no difference of opinion..worship one god..and follow final prophet..The divisions u mentioned are all political..
ОтветитьBased on sources of both the haters and the loyal the term (امير المؤمنين) belongs to ali ibn abi talib (AS), and whoever accepted it for himself other than ali is فاسق, let that sink in.
These were the words of the prophet, unlike the bought words of the so-called sunni scholars, who make everyone a legitimate khalifa... hence ISIS and alqaeda
Not a single mention of the Quran Alone: the religion of Muhammad as he followed no other Sunnah but that of GOD.
Ответитьgreat vid man; ❤ islams moon 🌙 symbol!
ОтветитьRegarding Ahamadiya.... After looking into it, it seems that this branch of Islam is the one which is reconciled most with modernity - with Sunni Shia and the Ibadi being heavily oriented to jurisprudence and traditions that are arguably maladapted to the modern world and a probsble cause of economic and social stagnation in significant portions of the caliphates of the Islanic Golden Age.
I wonder if the objections to this branch are, in fact, more political than anything else.
I'm left wondering where quranism and islamic modernism fits into this.
ОтветитьThere is no reason why rationalism should naturally be opposed to inquisition. Any ideology might support violence unless their ideology is fundamentally non violent.
ОтветитьWell explained, great video.
I am sure that nobody can agree that kharijites are extinct - they will be present among us forever. ISIS is the most recent khariji sprout in our time. It's like a virus, comes and goes in seasons, unfortunately there's no cure for it.
Good morning. Have you come across the Petra theory? It states that according ro the descriptions in the quran as well as documents such as merchant slilps and shipping docs, that the area described in the quran is actually Petra instead of mecca. Evidence has been found pointing towards the earliest mosques being in the same location. Facinating study which could be used in another chart perhaps?
Excellent video as are all of your charts. You guys make the world make sense. 👍
As an Islamic researcher, I can say that this video is quite well done!
Ответитьwhile one might look at this chart and think that islam has plenty of divison in it
in actuality sunnis are just standard muslims the shia are a minority whom added this whole concept of infallible imams and their right of rule
and those schools in the 'sunnis' are all legitimate since for the most part its just minor differences in things that are somewhat open to interpretation most muslims do not care about which school anyone attributes him self to
they would ask the local scholars from their local mosque on matters where they need guidance without caring which school such scholar or imam aligns with
outside of the 4 schools is where you'll start seeing considerable differences and ppl from the 4schools hesitant to take the opinions of outside scholars but those are a minority regardless
For muslims this is wrong
ОтветитьSame message just lost key is find moderate path
ОтветитьHanafi, maliki, shafi'i & hanbali make up almost 90% of muslim. Its very different to christian denominations in that all of them can pray together in the same mosques unlike say catholic, baptist, greek orthodox denomination etc which have completely different services or dont pray together in the same church.
ОтветитьJust some notes from a Muslim layman:
The line from Mu'tazila theology to Ash'ari theology is strange, to my knowledge it was started by Abul-Hasan al-Ashʿari in opposition to and as a refutation of Mu'tazilism (as he had been taught philosophy by them). I guess it could be considered accurate if the line means causation, and I guess he did utilise some of the philosophical concepts he was taught by them.
I'm also not sure about the way you've presented Shah Waliullah Dehlawi, as far as I know he was well versed in the 4 madhahib and practiced the Hanafi madhhab, but in recent times his views have been misrepresented by various Ghair Muqallid movements. He also produced a few writings on Tasawwuf (or Sufism as many like to call it) which very much flies in the face of those who fabricate and misuse his teachings.
As someone who's had Deobandi teachers and has listened to the views of Deobandi scholars, I feel like some people (often for political reasons or just for lack of knowledge) misrepresent the movement in a similar way, it is essentially a revival of education in Hanafi jurisprudence and Maturidi theology and the founders and their students were initiated in various Sufi orders, as are their modern successors. Beyond education, in its early days it also functioned an Islamic resistance to British rule.
Finally, I understand the video explicitly chooses not to focus on this topic, but the representation of Sufism as some kind of heterodox movement, or as a midpoint between Sunnism and Shi'ism is also inaccurate to me. Tasawwuf is considered by most Sunni scholars to be the science that pertains to obtaining Ikhlas (excellence) through spirituality. It has lots of variation within, with different Shuyukh (Masters) from different Tariqas (paths/orders) prescribing different spiritual methods, however, excluding the practices of various fringe groups, it is always bound by the laws of Islamic jurisprudence.
im a hanafi athari buddy
Ответитьالحمد لله على نعمة الإسلام
Ответить2 out of 6, are not within the fold of Islam rather not considered to be an Mu’min
ОтветитьShias is not an islamic school
ОтветитьThis is more of a history of Islam from a southtasian perspective, most Muslims in the world believe in a more universal islam with the quoran as its sole source of code...but if the sourate from tbe Qur'an doesn't agree with the rational reality then the individual is encouraged to follow "the brain" and this is from Ibn Roshd, known as Averroes, a Maliki brilliant mind
Muslims deteriorated bcz some of them started spreading lies and fakes for political gains...and .any still use the religion now for political gain same way Trump Bush....would claim to be affiliated with a church go pray in a church during an electoral compaign
Simple english, simple and clearly explanation. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьPlease! Make it interpretation audio.
ОтветитьToo much misinformation & wrong translations ! :/
ОтветитьFirst correct the term of gair muqalidis then proceed...
ОтветитьDo Alevis comes from Sufisim?
I thought you would mention it as a chart, do you think it has to do anything with Alewites or something totally different? Just a Sufistic branch?
Also, there are some different denominations like Quranism. They reject hadith and (19 guys only) they belive there is a miracelous code in the Quran.
I think you need a little edit on the video
Edit: There are also Tariqas, they derive from denominations and then branches and sects... Too detalied but you could atleast name them in the chart
Edit2: I think the video will be 2 parts, It should be :D Please add on this chart, for perfection. Please cover every bit of Islamic belifes :)
"Go to war" as if islam had to deal with wars. Islam initiated wars and slaughtered those who don't accept the religion
Ответитьthe schools of thoughts are not demoniations, simply different methods of doing certain things. but the theology and general beliefs are the same through all 4 madhahib
Ответитьall Muslims believe that Islam start with Adam it is part of being Muslim.
Ответитьfunny how the kharajites who killed ali RA. are from the shia
ОтветитьI'm a shia muslim 💚
