ОтветитьIndia is cheap if you know the right place. Even when we travel to somewhere other than our city, we have to pay "tourist prices" because we don't know which are "good cheap places"

ОтветитьAgreeing with you on 🇧🇩! ❤️, followed by certain regions in India, as Kolkata (probably the cheapest mega city on the planet) and Bolivia. Malaysia can be very affordable, too, with zero hustle. Philippines? - Not in my experience! 😊
ОтветитьI love el salvador❤
ОтветитьThough I think it has since changed a bit since the Ukraine war, I found Georgia to be the cheapest country. Haircut for $2 in Vietnam? I got one for $1 in Georgia as recently as 2018, at a fancy place actually. In the villages and small towns you could easily get a full meat meal for $1 or $2. They do charge tourists extra in some places, so you need to meet a local or speak at least Russian if not Georgian, but even without it it's very affordable.
ОтветитьAs a Bangladeshi guy, this country also expensive for me😢😢
ОтветитьBangladesh 🤝🇧🇩🥰

ОтветитьI don't agree. As i am from China and currently live in Philippines now
i can say the living cost in Philippines is much higher than in China. Almost everything the daily needs is expensive here
My cheapest country is Turkey 🇹🇷 a Big Mac meal is less than £3 and a kebab is less than £3, I haven’t been anywhere cheaper yet but I hope one day. It’s going to be tough to beat Turkey’s prices.

Ответитьhow come indonesia is not in the list, you can literally get breakfast, lunch and diner for only 2 usd a day
ОтветитьGreat video. Your observation about the cheaper countries being more interesting is actually quite profound. When you consider why most Westerners travel abroad, you discover that they really have zero interest in really connecting with the locals or learning how they live. They approach these visits like they would approach a trip to the zoo. Observe and gawk...with no engagement or participation. The worst travelers are those who want to have all of the amenities from home. This means staying in Western-style hotels, going to Western-style restaurants that serve fancy versions of the local food, and seeing only the stereotypical tourist stuff. Your discussion on India framed this perfectly. I don't know what the point of such culturally-empty travel is.
ОтветитьEl Salvador-- either great people, or warlords/drug lorgs who will disembowel you with a machete for being a woman
