How To Move Music Out Of iTunes & into Serato DJ Pro | Serato 3.0

I have been using iTunes and Traktor for sometime, but I have a new controller arriving any day now that will unlock both Serato & Rekorodbox, so I will be following your steps on how to file my music in Serato.

Question though - As I have all my music in iTunes and not yet in Serato yet, can I copy over my iTunes playlists into Serato? Is it the case of just linking up iTunes in Serato, and copying the itunes playlists into new Serato Crates?

Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but my Library is 9k but after I rename the folder and click on "relocate lost files" it only finds 735 songs. Any idea? Ive followed everything step by step! Apple Music must have different ways than Music does.

Can someone explain the point of even doing this in the 1st place? thank you.

How do you migrate the iTunes playlist also?

Can I prevent load lag by adding tidal songs to a crate vs streaming ?

Do you buy music on itunes/Apple Music? if you do, how do you have the files downloaded? for me it's creating a music folder in my downloads folder and creating separate folders for "artists" so i manually drag them over to auto import in serato. idk if that makes sense.

What about the crates (playlists) you've created while in iTunes , do those go over as well ? It appears in your example you were running Serato crates & iTunes playlist together

Good evening DJ CEE B and thank you for an outstanding tutorial. I have a question. Is there anyway to keep the smart crates we created in part 3 with the genres in alphabetical order. My smart crates ended up all over the place.

Do you have to name the music folder “ITunes Music Folder” or you can name it any name you want?

I currently move my itunes folder from the C drive to a D drive and tried everything and still doesnt work does it have to be on the main C drive to work? or can i just uninstall serato and reinstall it on the d drive for it to work? HELP
