That was the most awesome medieval action scene I've ever seen
ОтветитьThis movie seems like a good one. 👍
Ответитьthe technique Marshal is using is called Half-swording. It utilizes the full length of the longsword from its tip to the pommel but it's best you do it when using gloves our you're bound to lose some fingers.
ОтветитьTotally bullshit
ОтветитьI forgot how frantic(terrible) the camera angles and edits are, but still a good gem for those who like medievil battle scenes. Seriously, there isn't a single shot during the action that doesn't contain a cut or a violently moving camera for more than 2 seconds in this entire movie lol.
ОтветитьThe editing in this scene is so bad.
ОтветитьOutstanding scene. Even tho no way those archers are shooting that far lol
ОтветитьWe need more Templar Knight movies
Ответитьwhat battle is this? 😂😂 maximum 50 men used for video ,shit 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThe camera work was intolerable! Million cuts and shakey cam. There was even shakeu cam on clips that had no movement! What is the point of that even?
ОтветитьTemplars were protectors of all Christians and were betrayed by the monarchs; the fact that they don’t have emblematic monuments is…. Disappointing. Rest in Peace Milites Christi ✝️
ОтветитьDamn this cameraman is like 🤮😵💫🫨😵💫🫨🤯
ОтветитьGlad I was born in the 21st century
ОтветитьHoly shit it got more graphic than I expected when I saw the face being smashed in like DAMN
ОтветитьThe chances of anyone dying was like 80-90%
ОтветитьThey didnt have two handed greatswords in this period or even long swords. He would have had an arming sword but its still fun to see one used. Shame about all the lack of helmets though.
ОтветитьGlorious!!!
Ответитьwhat makes them recognizeable for being Danish? I don't know which language they are speaking, maybe old Norse or old Danish? Is it because they mention that they are Danes in the movie?
ОтветитьThat long sword cutting that man near in half 👏
ОтветитьCLEAR!!!!
ОтветитьWhy can’t I find this movie anywhere? Not even Amazon has it?
ОтветитьLiving those times would be a miracle if you make it to your 30s
ОтветитьImpressive rate of fire on those three trebuchet. Self-cocking, it seems. Why we ever bothered inventing breech loading artillery is beyond me...
ОтветитьHow is thw film called?
ОтветитьSo we can stand here at a safe distance and pelt them with boulders, fireballs and rotten cow carcasses? Yip. For days you say? Yip. Killing, maiming, infecting the soldiers, breaking down the walls and destroying their stores? Yip. OK. Do that for 2 minutes then charge.
ОтветитьPOV Me defending a seige in bannerlord
ОтветитьHow great this would have been without the shaky cam.
ОтветитьThose trebuchets are no joke!
ОтветитьThey did great on the gore
ОтветитьOk i think i ll play chivalry 2 now
ОтветитьWhen are millennials going to stop shaking the camera?
ОтветитьИ снова все более-менее ключевые персонажи сражаются без шлемов - чтобы зрителю было удобнее следить за их приключениями. Ох уж эти стандарты киноиндустрии ))
ОтветитьGareth's time in the territorials was pretty interesting then...
Ответитьi love seeing costumes reused between films. some of the danes wear the brigandines found on the northumbrians in vikings.
ОтветитьUna buena peli y eso que en su mayoria echa por actores de segunda y les resulto HECXELENTE👳🛡⛏🏹🗡🖒
ОтветитьFar too much camera jerk.
ОтветитьHas the cameraman had too much coffee? The shaking is just too much.
ОтветитьAnd the only reason the barons revolted was becouse England's kings never discriminated between nobles and commoners as much as the rest of Europe and england was more centralized and had a system where land rent was limited as well as a unified judicial system where only royal judges would judge and there was a tax which was called the daneheld and in addition to many other taxes although they didn't deduct more than 30% of a commoners income the same was not for the nobles nobles who earned more than a certain income had to pay at least 50% taxes if they wanted to be expected from military service entirely and where not allowed to raise armies or operate mines or forges or Glassworks or collect taxes and where treated equally in front of the king which was not what many nobles wanted but most europe theuraticly had the same system they tried to copy the roman empire system and eastern roman empire system but since england never had a standing royal army like the Profesional imperial standing army of byzatine empire the nobles had influence which was not the case in the eastern roman empire and the nobles already had to pay tax becous of the system and they had to have unlimited military service under the king and if they wanted the service to be limited to a certain length per year they had to pay more like it could reach 40 ot 50 percent of their income while if they wanted to be exempted entirely they had to pay even more thus its like paying two thirds and as well since nobles didn't own that much estates as nobles in France was one of the reasons and england was even using the country or shire county system or shire country and the county was previously governed by an alderman then it changed to elderman then to earl and at that time it was called an earldom and england was firstly when William the conqueror conquered it devided into 6 or 7 or 8 large earldoms each governed by earldorman tor earl but after william conquered it he devided the earldoms into counties each governed by earl then when the title or earl become hereditary earls where replaced by Shirifs or balifs the two of them along with earl alderman or earldorman had similar function which was they has to collect the kings taxes and send two third sof the tax collected to the royal treasury while the remaining third was to be used as the counties budget and a portion of the budget would be used as his salary and another of his responsibility was to enforce kings laws by assisting the kings justiciary and balif in enforcing it as well as commding the local counties security forces in combating banditsry and thief thus enforcing stability as well as gathering the militias and conscripts and levying peasants for war if the kings called for it as well as local defense of the county and its castles it was common for earls like earl of York to only own lands outside or York or only own a district but that was when it was a noble title and the title was not hereditary before that's why when before hereditary it lost its functions and became a noble title and thus they where replaced by sherifs all in all they where the kings representatives and govenors but the lack of a large standing army other than the royal guard and the kings direct knights was quit the problem as nobles rebellions possible and in england serfs and peasant where not tied to the land which was the problem for nobles as they could easily immigrant to other places and if the king issued a charter of liberty then the town which was a noble state would become independent of him and thus under the king directly and no rent would be collected from it while in France since nobles where exempted from all taxes they where less rebellious most of the time and since nobles in england wanted more power they rebeled many times even in the barons rebellion but most of the powers and goals was crushed in the 1913 parliament act which switched supremacy from the unelected house of lords to the elected house of commons
ОтветитьFun fact only half the barons rebelled during the barons revolt and the only reason they where able to resist a bit was becouse of the support of king Philip Augustus who wanted to destabilize england so he can retake french lands and king John almost won the war if he didn't die due to the usual disease that infects people in the battle field if he lived for a few more years then the barons would have lost a lot of their power
ОтветитьNot a phone in sight just people being people. Truly a simpler time
ОтветитьThe inaccuracies in this film are so glaring for any actual history and warfare buff that by the end of it you are left with a sour taste... If they just went full out on a fictional siege, or full out historical it would of been 100% better but trying to blend fiction with history like this just doesn't work most of the time..
ОтветитьI've just seen soldiers running towards castle, with their shields gingerly held in their hands and without any attempt to actually block the upcoming arrows...I stopped the video. Thanks, though.
ОтветитьLook, it's BOVINE! Lo, there do I see my...
ОтветитьWhat a terrible, bitter and demoralizing victory
ОтветитьYou'd think they'd run bombardment a little longer? Like a few days, not minutes... wear them out completely without risking any of their own men.
ОтветитьIs that McKenzie Cook?
Ответитьexcellent
ОтветитьGenuinely curious here:
Could a great sword really slice through a man like that? Holy shit 😮
>Me winning 1v500 in castle defense in Mount&Blade
Pfft, amateurs.
Also, surprise Paul Giamatti with the punch bowl haircut
