Best Office Chair Tier List (30 Ranked For Comfort)

I give you guys at BTODtv a C+ to B- for your reviews in this video. Overall you did a good job in bringing your personal knowledge to each chair. You compared oranges to apples to watermelons. You should have also mentioned the price of each chair, but you didn't. How about the warranty, you didn't acknowledge that either. How about what year each chair was released for general sales and where (also what country) it's manufactured? Since basically one person, Ryan, is actually placing each chair on the S, A, B, C, D, & F list, I would suggest each one of you do your own evaluation on your own separate laptop form. After the demo on each chair, you would combine your scores to find out which chairs were top choices. But before that comparison, you would also do a pricing division since you're comparing cheap chairs to expensive chairs, there should be at least 3 different price ranges, maybe 4 price ranges. (I'm not familiar with the pricing.) You guys have no issues with the price of chairs since it's your business and purchasing chairs is an approved expense, but pricing is a main concern for many of us. So, I think you need to be picking the best chair in the $400 to $599. range and then $600 to $900 & so on.
I've listened to many videos in the past and a bunch this past week. I personally ordered from BTOD a BTOD reconditioned Leap v2 this week I hope it's what you claim but my one concern is the seating comfort over a 6 or longer hours period (tailbone Greg!). You did have an offering of the Lamia but the price is $200 more than the Leap v2 (which seemed high). I might have ordered the Lamia if it was only $100 extra.

The simple task chair. So impossibly hard to find any perfection in any of them. They really are a personal choice because you are going to deal with some pretty glaring flaws with any of them.

I love these videos, But it would be so helpful to have a 5’5” woman on your panel so that those of us who aren’t large 6 foot tall men can get a sense of how the chair would suit us.

Usefull but without knowing the prices or simply the range make the video useless (i know the video is FOR comfort). Yeah why buying a S tier @ 2000$ when you have a A tier for 200$ (it's an example)

I'm software developer and need chair 24/7. I'm using $50 IKEA chair for 4 years now... Poor me...
In our office we use Steelcase Think and I like it. But for my home office I wanted chair with headrest.
My choice was in between Fern vs Steelcase Gesture vs Steelcase Leap. As per my understanding all the chairs quite same comfort level and I would not feel the difference.
Based on your reviews I made my decision and ordered Fern Executive chair. I liked orange color and their digital knit pattern.

Just a hint for you: buy a Bluetooth mouse and get rid of USB dongle. I love to use MX Master 3 mouse.

Great videos and amazing information. Question, since I'm in need of a new chair, where might I be able to see these chairs and actually sit in them? I don't wan't to spend money and time on a chair that doesn't fit my needs. I'm at my desk for at least 6 hours at a time and I need something comfortable and a chair that supports my bad back. I'm in the Dallas area and can't find a store that has most of the chairs you talk about. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I was looking for a seat cushion and you tube brought me to this video. WOW you guys are a bunch of little beotches. I can’t believe you guys are sitting here whining like women about chairs. If price is a non-issue, you should try Ekornes Stressless Magic Office chair. By far THE superior chair compared to all of these. Ive tried all the chairs they rank here, and the stressless is way way better. (burned after buying those crummy mesh-chairs, they are NOT for tall people.) Unfortunately it has an insane price-tag where im located, so i went with Steelcase Gesture, which is my second-favorite chair out of everything ive tested. I still want to get the stressless, its that comfy yes.

how come you ranked the Gesture as the best one in the Fern vs. Embody vs. Gesture video but here the Gesture falls behind the Embody?
