I've always been a great fan of this movie. I had a great grandpa who fought in the western front in ww1. If i can remember he died from friendly fire in November of 1916. he was a German solider right on the front lines. I guess when walking out in the field, a soldier who had been a german allied soldier mistaked for an enemy and shot him. Either way, this movie is really good and realistic. You should watch it

Through the madness and sadness a immortal soldier finds his home. Where alvin York braved hell. At the edge of the Argonne hellfighters earned their name. A war ended by a treaty in Versailles.
