Do you have a source for the historical origins of Carthage? I'd be very interested in reading about it.

The philistines, Tyreans, cartaginians aka Phoenicians were worshipers of Baal and Tanit. They were hated by there neighbors no mattwr where their ships took them because they sacrificed children to their evil gods. It is that aspect tbat is mentioned by all their enemies and it is that that made them so repellent to all and sundry.

They were a wealthy civilization but envy alone didnt make them enemies to all. Their retched sacrifices to their evil Gods are what spelled their repeated doom. Troy was but the first phoenician civilization to be laid low and i bet that the myceneans probably used their evil gods as the last but just reason to wipe them out.

I wonder how people were dependent on fine things from certain part of the World. How global trade was. And how people had taste for fine things, how they appreciated it and paid for it and thus such cities were booming as opposed to how we buy cheap things from China, humanity de-escalated quickly. Nobody will write a book about container ships going to and forth from Europe to China or America. There is nothing poetic about it.

Sounds like shaving your cattle and allowing the sun to sunburn them is bestest way to mark your cattle as branding them.

MAKE İNFİNİTE DRİNK SPRİNG MOUNTAİN WATER
ionosphere clouds are made by machines.
Ionosphere clouds are made over the places where there are artificial pools in desired places by spraying with airplanes.
copper wires extend outward from each side of the hexagonal-tipped kites. The ends of the copper cables are in the artificial empty pool.hexagonal crest kite flies through ionosphere cloud.
The high water in the ionosphere empties into the pool in the form of rain, it is million tons.
This process is repeated for each water requirement. SPRİNG mountain water quality drinking water

A really marvelous episode.
The Phoenician alphabet which gives us our own was possibly the greatest achievement of their civilization.
I believe that it originated from ancient Hebrew. When the Israelites developed it during their Egyptian sojourn.
The Phoenicians in Tyre probably came from the tribe of Dan who manned the Ancient Pharaohs fleet and brought cedar from Lebanon. Explored the Mediterranean naming many of the rivers and islands with the Tribal name of Dan. They were the founding populations of Crete and Sardinia.

The way Carthage is so often talked about you'd think they rose alongside Rome, rather than preceding them. We only ever hear about the end of the empire cos they only come up in relation to Rome as an 'also-ran', so to speak. Barely anyone ever talks about their wars with the Greeks, for instance. But this makes it clear that they'd had their own grand run as a full fledged empire, doing so much more than just losing to Rome.

I have watched all FOC episodes but this one hit me the hardest like never before and moved me to tears😢 . Especially in the last 45mins
I felt like i was pulled back to that time and experienced the crippling desperation the Carthagenians had while trying to negotiate their anhilation with Rome, helplessness and utter despair seeing their city ruined and almost forever forgotten. Its all so heartbreaking🥺 a testament of great story telling Mr Paul Cooper

MYTH:
People now or ever chewed canabis or drank a tea.
Neither will acomplish anything of value.
Stems were however chewed in some cultures to break down fibre, but the smarter people just peed on the stems and beat them on a rock with a stick.
Stop implying ANYONE ever chewed canabis or made a tea.
Nobody does it more than once. Simply because its disgusting to taste and acomplishes ZERO.
