I never did or could get into PoE..But I respect the HELL out of the developers for the ideas they're able to come up with. I also love the fact they're still doing a tetris style inventory instead of this lame ass 1 slot fits all nonsense. Whoever designed the loot in D4 honestly did a horrible job..its a shame. And I'm sure the artists are just doing what theyre told but my god..D4s UI looks so crappy. Just the handful of items on screen in this demo look far more interesting.

D4 is dead as it should be. It was worth my money for the story, but the gameplay was not fun at all.

While im new to ARPG's and their sometimes complex mechanics, POE2 feels like a passion project to me

Itll take ages to understand the mechanics and how best to use them, but once i figure it out, it will be so SO rewarding!

The most unplayable thing about Poe is that you can't respec easily

Am gonna say it now cuz no one else will, based on poe1 parameters at least. as a melee this is insanely cool bcause of the high melee tree cost to get AOE/strikerange... etc etc. but it will also make ranged EVEN FURTHER ahead than they already were in poe1.

As a melee poe player i can tell you that's a dream come true, like skills would be different but imagine i have some kind of sick infernal blow clear treee and then one for heavy strike. Now who's fonna say heavy strike is a meme , want to fight? 😂
Seriously though, it is much better for ranged imo, if anything i think this will create a very big gap between ranged and melee and maybe even bigger than the one we have in poe1

Is POE 2 going to be free to play? The fact that the base game is still free to play and the devs can go this far is amazing.

it's not a game it's a real exam you have to get 80% score to pass it :)

It feels like the devs of POE 2 play their own game.

GGG are the mad scientists of video game developers, and I love that about them.

Big question is how many of your passive points are 'weapon set' points and how many are 'general' points? Maybe they answered that question too.

D4 is official dead, even thought POE2 isnt out yet.
