Thanks!
ОтветитьI enjoyed the different voices. One of those guys desperately needs a throat lozenge.
I gotta say, towered airport communication is by far the most intimidating thing I've encountered so far on my way to PPL. I just flew to one with my instructor last week and lets just say I was not prepared. Crosswind landings, solo cross countries, and the written test have nothing on this. I'm regretting not ever having been a waiter, I feel like my hearing/repeating skills are severely lacking.
I'll definitely be re-watching this video a few times in the hopes it will sink in but at the end of the day I think I'm still going to have to just blunder my way through some actual practice until I get it.
Those voices LOL!!
ОтветитьHey !!! Thanks very Much I’m actually going for my private and I Appreciate you !!!
ОтветитьOUTSTANDING
Yet another lesson with clarity ad easy to follow actions.
Stands watching more than once........not just for education but just because it is so go....
Well done...

practice makes perfect and im going to neeed alot
ОтветитьFrom my ATC point of view, EXCELLENT video. Gazillion thumbs up.
ОтветитьI like the silly ATC voice. :-) Thank you for the video!
Ответитьthis is as great video! Thank you so much
ОтветитьWe were literally told so many times we cannot use the word takeoff but we must say "ready for departure" and that the only times the word takeoff is used is either in an abandoned takeoff or by ATC
ОтветитьExcellent. Thank you
ОтветитьPrior to 9/11, student pilots could still visit Kansas City Center and listen in on the line. It made them more human. I don't know if they've opened that up again. The ATC training simulations were fun to watch as instructors threw in scenarios including spacing for Air Force One.
Ответить2 years later still helping new pilots make sense of radio calls! The atc at my local airport talk so much faster and muffled, but only 2 runways so not crazy complicated.
ОтветитьGreat video. Learned so much. Also loved that you used KICT since I'm 2 miles from there.
ОтветитьYour private pilot videos are brilliant, I send them to my students all the time on top of what I teach, very easy to understand. One thing I noted that your hood short line missed one more solid line of I’m correct.
ОтветитьLol. This is going to tale a bit of practice. Awesome explanation though
ОтветитьWhew! Communications were always my hang-up and even after watching your video I think I need to move to Alaska!! Very little radio!! 🥴
ОтветитьThis is brilliant
ОтветитьWichita is my airport! That was super helpful
ОтветитьThis training is amazing!! Wow.
ОтветитьPlease make an episode just practicing radio calls! This is where I feel like I'm sturggling the most! I understand the initial calls to ground and tower, but everything that comes after that is where I'm stalling.
ОтветитьWait. Wait. Wait… not a single “see YA”? 😂. Enjoying going over these and reminiscing. Haven’t flown in years. You didn’t cover shortening the call sign to last three, but that’s probably good to not make it even more confusing for new pilots worried about comms. Fun stuff!
ОтветитьAm glad this type of communication is still the same cause I have noticed alot of changes for example Back Taxi instead of Backtrack or Notice to All Air Missions from Notice to all Airmen. I was wondering can you shorten the read back to 123 Y without saying Cherokee ?? . In Canada We don't have flight following well not yet where I am as I last remember.
Ответить🤣🤣🤣🤣 who was squeezing the nuts on that ATC redneck... so funny. We know it's you making multiple voice over attempts. Reminds me of how poorly the War Games 1980's Matthew Brodderick film tried to do a Maine accent at Loring AFB at the end of the movie.. using a southern drawl mixed with downeaster. Amusing.
ОтветитьBy chance do you have a video about just radio calls?
Ответить❤
Ответитьalways more radio comms training
ОтветитьBig big thank you for this topic!
Ответитьalways remember to speak as quickly as possible... that's what pros do... SARCASM
ОтветитьI am just starting my journey to become a student pilot working on my private pilot’s license… All of your videos are great… This is the subject that’s the most intimidating… Did you make that video for practicing this?? If you have not made it yet, I would like to make a formal request for it… Thank you for all the time & effort you have put into your channel…
ОтветитьWow amazing video helped a lot. Thank you bro 😎
ОтветитьLove too have more on communications
ОтветитьSounds like he got his balls caught in a vice!
ОтветитьThank you for the tips on how to write down what the ATC says. I find listening to LiveATC very helpful for both practice and familiarization with specific towers. Some ATCs are easier to understand than others.
ОтветитьNice graphics, only one thing left is to understand what controllers are saying 🤣🤣
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI think the ATC man really needs a pause.....
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI was watching this and recognized the airport immediately. So glad to see the airport .5 mile away while trying to learn about flying!
ОтветитьWhy does ATC guy sounds like he’s choking 😂
ОтветитьThank you for this video. The information is great, but for me the hand writing is most distracting and interferes with timing and acquisition of the excellent information. Do not mean to be disrespectful, just offering a more efficient way of presenting. Again, thank you so much.
Ответитьwhat does Yankee mean?
ОтветитьMaybe fix the tower's voice / Approach voice. Ha Ha
ОтветитьVery informative. Clear and easy to understand. Loved the voices. Hilarious.
ОтветитьAnd special vfr if I remember correctly in not as clear weather but not IFR only weather conditions
ОтветитьSimply love your content
ОтветитьGreat video and very informative, Thanks! i just wish all ATC controllers spoke like this 🙂
ОтветитьThanks again for this wonderful video.
ОтветитьGreat channel. Great content. Thank you for creating it!
