Orbea Oiz Bike Check/Review with 130mm of travel

Barring availability, what would you guys and gals upgrade next on the Oiz?

Would you recommend the Oiz M30 or OIZ H30 that comes with 120mm front & rear for racing mostly gravel roads with occasional chunky sections? Thanks

For $165 Fox will increase the stroke of that rear shock from 40 to 45. Fox 34 100 for $35 can be increased to 120. I have Orbea Oiz M-Team. That rear shock is made for the Oiz

So friggin torn between the Oiz TR and Scott Spark to complement a hardtail... Or going for a trail bike, local routes are just short techy climbs and short descents, trail bike might be a bit more comfortable but I sort of prefer the XCish feel of actually feeling the bumps.

I do not like the finish on my same color Orbea Alma. Too hard to clean. I like everything else about it.

Love my Orbea Oiz M Ltd 100mm travel! Perfect XC and Marathon MTB!! Heard it can be upgraded without complicated or costly changes to 120 front and rear… Will try! 20mm doesn’t seem a lot… but… helps downhill! Great video! Great channel!!

Before you explained what single pivot is good for and what is not, never paid any attention to it, but I will seriously consider it when I chose my first full sus. Who knows when :) but that Oiz is really nice bike, in original and upgraded state. What brakes are those? Look like Shimano MT500 but I'm probably wrong. Also, what rotors you use and why that size? (why not bigger/smaller). And congratulations on the house :)

Lovely bike that 😁 I was thinking about an xc bike but the negatives you mention is what ultimately put me off as I’m not a racer. So have settled for the Trance 29 advanced pro 2.

Honestly i think this is a great take on the Oiz. I like my TR but it is a tad less confident in the descents than I had hoped. I will try different tires than stock (forecaster/Rekon Race) and i would be fine without the lockout too I think. If the tires don't help enough on the descents i might have to regretfully return it.
