Noam doesn't stop to think about the alien culture. It would be something like this, "I come from a civilization where there are no differences. Everyone likes the same thing. Nobody is allowed to be different. We cannot do anything to assist this culture from destroying itself. Even those of us who want to help are killed because we are violating the supreme ruler's commandments". The only solution all of all this is, "Let each other be". Nobody able to tell anyone else how to live their lives or force them to be a certain way, except in self defense. Build a civilization on that. Anything less has built in conflict where the "different people" have to be exterminated so the meanest, most cunning and biggest can call the shots.

What is the point if humanity survives at the cost of other species and how could they want to survive and not consider all the other beings sharing time and space with them? To be humane they should put other beings' welfare before their human aspirations and egos otherwise they will have lost their so-called humanity.

There's really no one else alive in the US worth listening to when it comes to understanding what the country is about. That he's somewhat "mainstream" now is noteworthy. And while he gives "guidance" on what could be done, the role of the intellectual is not to provide solutions. The system is rotted to the core and there's no evidence in recent history that "the people" are going to do anything about it. They're overfed, over-medicated and over-burdened, in other words rendered helplessly indentured to their destruction.

Where's the russian and ukrainian equivalent to Noam Chomsky?

Can someone explain how sea levels rise, and by how much, is it permanent, does this effect the levels of high and low tides, and if so in what way. We have examples of suggested sea level rises here in NZ but only in certain areas and not others. How does that work???? We know of residents living near the sea for 40 yrs who have noticed not one jot of sea level rise.
