I've been lived and worked there for some time by international student exgange programm back in 1999. Don't know as for now but we were so happy to work in such a good place) Black folks had been so frendly towards us, place was so secure as the same as job. Everything is relative. When you come from basically a warzone you so so happy with so little) Once you see the real world you will be happy you are the US citizen)

NONETHELESS, THERE'S JUST AS MUCH CRIME AMONG THE WELL MANICURED LAWNS. SOME OF THE MOST HORRFIC, CRUEL, VILE CRIMES COME FROM OUT OF THE BURBS. IT'S JUST NOT REPORTED LIKE BLACK CRIME.

I live in Nashville but worked in Memphis for a while. There's not many good parts of Memphis I'd want to live. People are crazy in Memphis. Nashville is also getting pretty bad in the past 10 years.

Those people are not going to “just go away”. These people have pride, these are their family homes, passed down generation to generation. They, and I, want to make it better.

I often drive through neighborhoods like this in Memphis. Lived here all my life, work in all these neighborhoods every day. Don’t start nothing, won’t be nothing

Bet most of these people have a nicer smart phone than I do.. a huge screen tv and free food that the hard working Americans pay for. This is America.. we feed them, house them and they still will shoot you for your shoes and steal what they can get their filthy hands on... then throw their garbage on the ground and turn around and blame you. This is what no morals , no self-respect, and no fear of God looks like..generations deep. They have everything they need and are clearly thriving. DO NOT CALL THEM POOR. They have choices, but why would they work when they can make more $$$$ sitting at home spending other's money on drugs and other frivolous lusts of the devil to please the flesh? STOP THE WELFARE AND PUT EM' TO WORK!!!!! Like honest people do. Dont drink, stay away from drugs and find Jesus. God help us all and put your fear in them.. someday it will finally be clear, until then many many prayers for the INNOCENT children and babies suffering in these hostile conditions... 💔💔💔

Ok, The segregation is willful segregation by the blacks against whites, not whites against blacks. Let's make that very, very clear. Blacks left of center want their own black dorm rooms, black graduations ceremonies, they have their own black award ceremonies, they have their own black television stations and their own black magazines, etc.

How did it get to this point? I can answer that really easily, rap culture! The glorifying of gang violence drug dealing domestic violence hatred of police hatred of any enforcement of laws, etc. The other big factor in this is that the black woman has married the government and has kept the black man out of the home so that there is a 75% fatherlessness in the black community in homes. There's also a lot of black men who just want to hit it and quit it, you know what I mean? They like being sperm donors, but they don't like to be fathers. They can't be bothered with raising their own children. How sickeningly sad that is. And the women are quick to throw their legs open and be incubators having two three or more baby daddies. All that I've said right here is exactly why the crime rate is so high in the black communities. (Mic drop)

Poverty is not an excuse. There's all kinds of poverty in the Appalachian mountains but you don't see those people dealing drugs, shooting each other every night. The most part there are churchgoers. There's a big difference between poor white and poor black. Sorry, but that's definitely my wife's experience and I'm a pretty smart guy so I see what goes on around the other cities in America and all the worst parts of any city is usually occupied by poor blacks. The poor whites out in the country would give you the shirt off their back the poor blacks and inner cities will give you a bullet.

Why don't you talk about the high mortality rate in Miss., No doctors on purpose, that way you can legally deny health care to the minorities.. That lady should know that Memphis/ShelbyCounty got a higher poverty rate than alot of counties in Mississippi thats why the crime higher.. You wanna cut down on crime then cut down on the poverty

The federal government has lost interest in helping Americans... they choose to feed and house illigal immigrants before they help born Americans citizens! Caucasian, African American...it doesn't matter...everyone is an American struggling because the biden administration failed the entire country. The racial tension shouldd not exist in a place like Memphis tn....that should be the one single place in America to remember Abraham Lincoln dismantling slavery the very same time they remember martin Luther King's Assassination!

I grew up here and just the thought of driving through the place on the interstate without even stopping for gas now gives me the creeps. Leaving was the smartest thing I ever did. I watched this place going down the tubes and didn't see any point in going down the tubes with it.
