Hello and respect, in this sport, the fights are not real, but the players can be real fighters, which the poor reporter did not pay attention to.

I've been wrestlers get dropped on their head, slapped in the chest, hit with a chair, got stuck in barbed wire, slammed through a table, and in some matches actually get punched in the face and started bleeding. Overall, most of it is fake because most of the times wreslers don't hit each other, but instead they sell their moves in order to make it look like they got hit, and there's even been times where wrestlers have cut themselves with a razor blade to make it look like they bled from their opponent hitting them, like New Jack did in most of his matches.

It is not fake, outcomes are scripted but things like open hand slaps, etc... are 100% real.
