Mustelids like badgers and wolverines are ridiculously aggressive and as pointed out, have extremely loose and elastic skin which allows them to easily escape the grasp of predators. They also often have a foul smell and aren't that palatable. Even lions will often not bother to attack or fight honey badgers in Africa because of the effort needed to take them down. Cats can take down mustelids if they have to, but they would rather not go to the effort of doing so for unpalatable food unless they're starving.
