The game if you looked at the news paper cutscenes said “black” and then operations and if you put it as short was a hidden Easter egg reference to black ops before call of duty became call of duty black ops

Yoooo y is it that the games I never heard of seem to be the best spec ops the line dishonerd now I gotta get black this looks amazing sure the graphics don’t hold up to today but both the games I just mentioned are old and the story’s are fantastic gotta get this game

I have some great memories playing this in Australia with all my mates . That was fun university time

whoever made the music for this trailer was definitely a fan of massive attack

This game feels like the early 90s fps (like Wolfenstein for example) with just modernized graphic & ragdoll physic with death animation after all.. No jump. No open/close door feature, no sprint, no vaulting, no leaning. Nothing more, nothing else. Just a straight walk, aiming up and down & just shoot em up. FEAR came out a year before this and have much better & advanced feature, let alone the graphic. Though, this game is still decent and worth a try for anyone who are into the nostalgic feel of old FPS gameplay flashback.

COMEON MAN THIS CAN BEAT WHOLE CALL OF DUTY. IM MEAN THIS WAS A LEGEND , big fan will always be always be always be DESERVING REMASTERED

God this game was amazing, the only knock against it is the story its just meh, but the guns felt great they had weight the sound design was great, for 2006 it looked amazing. If EA wants a successful FPS title, I'd say give this the proper remaster/make or sequel it deserves

I still play this Awesome so underated game to this day on my original XBox console. I love the fact that the Xbox version has the custom soundtrack. I'm able to listen to my own downloaded music during gameplay. One of my favorite games of all time...5-22-2021

Loved playing this on the original Xbox.

Genuinely, this game is a pure masterpiece. The graphics, music, cut-scenes, player's voice performances, sound effects of firing, explosions, reloading, enemies responding to our grenades, their talks, etc. And most importantly the story maintained from start to end.
I wish EA would release Black 2 for about capturing William Lennox ( who escaped the bunker )
Everything is done so accurately with perfection that its impossible to beat this game

This game came out at the worst time possible for a game like this, if it had been released a year earlier or 2 years later it would have been much more successful

I still don't think anything comes close to this game. Just the way the paddle shook at every shot that was taken was so realistic nothing matches it it's just unparalleled. There's some decent games made since then it's only been 15 freaking years. But none that got it all RIGHT like this one did!

Call of duty is the best war video game.... Black, hold my vodka. So a great game that was ahead of its time and deserves a sequel or remastered version for the ps4.
