noob here, if they have a look at the game in path tracing, shouldnt they have a better idea about how lighting should look so that they can use raster light with a better idea of how a scene should look or it doesnt work like that

Having Frame Generation only for RTX40 and not for RTX30 series is just dirty business...

That sort of performance on modern hardware is not okay and no one should accept this. The push for all of these frame generation and upscaling technologies are no excuse for poor optimization and corporate greed. If that is a sort of performance people can expect on a RTX 4090 with DLSS enabled then what sort of performance can those expect on a RTX 4060? Sub-30 FPS? 30? 40? What?

Unacceptable.

After this I hope they'll add DLSS 3.5 for Control as well.

These gimmicks won’t be able to fool people forever.

Please don’t tell me that the game is achieving 100 fps with an RTX 4090, using DLSS 3.5, and utilizing 8 gigabytes of VRAM on low settings. This would mean that anyone with only 4 GB of VRAM wouldn’t be able to play this game. It seems that frame generation is required to achieve playable fps. for anything below 10gb of VRAM

I've never been impressed with ray tracing.

Nvidia is all about making your $1000 card to deliver like $2000, while I only have $500 for the whole package so I bought a console.

The non-DLSS <30fps look so much more Cinematic and Dramatic : ) Just saying.

The eye for detail that Remedy has is really incredible. This was true in Control as well. I really love exploring every nook and cranny in their games
