Doesn't this just stop the redirect when you open an incompatible page, though, which is generally quite useful - e.g. to follow a You Tube link or something like Reddit which no longer work on IE. What I want to eliminate is the forced opening of Edge once every so often when you start IE from the Taskbar, before even opening my homepage (which is Google and still IE compatible). It seems to be a deliberate effort by MS to force people over to Edge rather than the more user friendly (IMHO) IE.
