I've been debating between the deity connect and the sennheiser avx for weeks now as I've been wanting something that doesn't require uhf but both have just a bit too much latency. These look like a great winner! Thanks for sharing. I read in a comment it's only 4ms latency? Does this sound about right to you?

BIG bulky with external aerials. And 6 hours internal battery not good enough. Probably more like 4 hours if advertised at 6 lets be honest. And expensive, not compared to high end pro stuff but for mr average, put it this way you can buy TWO rode GO for the same price as a single transmitter and receiver of this system. The link in the show notes takes you to Amazon a single transmitter system £331 a single transmitter system for the Rode Go is around £156 do the math.

Justin, I've got one of these. It's been working great until recently I've been noticing that my voice audio is NOT playing on videos over android smart phones, even though the vocal audio works fine on my laptop and some phones, and tablets. What's going on? Any ideas? Anyone?

Had these a few years. Excellent. I use Amazon Basics hi capacity rechargeable batteries and get great life. Replacement annually. I have had a receiver slip out of the sleeve and the spring clip fail many times to the point that I no longer use them at all (I diy'd an industrial strength velcro solution). The pairing light on one of my receiving units no longer works due to falling on concrete after slipping from the holder, but otherwise still works fine. So great system but DO NOT trust the clips or holding sleeves.

What lav were you using at the start of the video?

How's the latency since it's digital? I can't find anything on their website that mentions it or a limiter. I know Sennheiser's AVX for instance is digital at a 19ms delay. I'm going to my local dealer to check this system out this week. Great video review.

Thanks for the vid. I'm looking for something possibly like this to do Bible teachings, not looking to spend a lot but this price point on this system seems to be the most affordable compared to what others go for so could be an option.

I feel like I've gone through it all for good sound

Absolutely loved using these! Shooting those run and gun videos with just myself can get stressful. With these, there were times I actually forgot that I was in charge of audio too! 😆

Another thing that I don’t think was mentioned in the video was the peaking. I think these mic’s peaked once during the nascar race. I set the levels in the beginning of the shoot and barely touched them again! They almost seem to take care of themselves. I’m going to be buying these as well!
