Hello, today I'm going to be talking to you about unique selling point ideas that can increase your sales in your business.
A brand is what someone says about you or your business when you are not around. Let's start with a very powerful brand and that is Oprah, what comes to your mind when you here that brand?
I think of down to earth, kindness, intelligence. She was a little different than Phil Donahue who was her competition and nobody thought she could beat him and she did.
Lets look at Apple. What comes to your mind when you here the brand Apple? I think of luxory.
It's unique selling point is your cool if you have an Apple phone, it's a status symbol.
For your own life and business what are some unique selling point ideas that can help you rise above the competition?
You probably don't just work 24/7 or at least hopefully you don't. You have hobbies, interests outside of work right?
One idea that I think is really good is to go outside your industry for ways to bring freshness, uniqueness to your approach.
For example for Pinterest I have a board dedicated to behind the scenes with pictures and videos. One area that I need to improve upon more is to talk about my struggles and to overcommunicate my truths.
I grew a Youtube channel with well over 2 million views then the computer that had my login information got stolen and I lost the channel.
The funny thing was I wasn't making that much money.
This is why I'm passionate about helping others make money with affiliate marketing because I worked my ass off for nothing and it really is a sucky feeling. I know that feeling and I don't want to see you go through that.
If you are new to a job, that is your unique selling point talk about it. I did that when I sold cars and I really think it helped.
Tom Hopkins when he sold Real Estate he had a motercycle and an old prom suite. That was all he had and was broke.
Who says you need a fancy car to sale real estate?
There is a unique selling point. There is a book called “Differentiate or Die” by Jack Trout.
It's all about being different in the marketplace is a good thing. Another book is called if they zig I zag or soemthign like that.
The point is being different helps you with your USP or uniqu selling point or proposition.
