I had various crushes way back from elementary to junior high, though most of, if not, all of them were short-lived. Until senior high school came. I have always had this attraction to tomboys and I don't really know why? It was always a mild case until senior high came and I met my new classmates. So my teacher asked if there was anyone that's part of the lgbtq+ community, of course, I knew one of my friends would stand up, but then I turned around and saw 2 or 3 more, and one of them was her. I thought she looked a bit cute and all that but I shrugged the thought off pretty quick afterwards. One day, I went into a poster-making contest. Thinking that I was the only one entering, I was slightly surprised that she was also participating but I didn't really care as much, that is until I had spent some time with her during the walk to and from the main building. Every time she looked back at me I felt a little something I wasn't expecting, but I held back knowing that she already had a girlfriend and was most likely attracted to people her gender. This was a little different too from the last times since I actually told some of my friends (from different schools) about how I finally had a crush after not feeling anything for anyone at all ever since I met them, and they are of course aware of that too. When Domics said something about admiring from afar it had never felt so good to hear that from someone else since that's the exact thought that I just always told myself every time I had that feeling. The thing is, whenever I develop feelings for someone, I would always just make myself think of how real a relationship can become as well as some scenarios of how it can affect my life in worse ways, therefore leading me to just at least befriend them instead of forming a romantical bond. Thankfully right now, I think that feeling is slowly starting to wear off as I had been hoping that it would.

Edit: I know long paragraph and all that, just wanted to share this.
