SYNC AUDIO FAST Tutorial | DaVinci Resolve 16 Tutorial

I ran into an interesting problem using a GH5 to send timecode over HDMI to a Sound Devices MixPre6. When I bring the video and audio clips into Resolve and use the sync by timecode option, I find that the audio is ONE FRAME out of sync with the video, and I have to nudge the audio track one frame to the right. I would thought that the timecode option would result in perfect synchronization. Any thoughts as to the problem?

I want to sync my webcam audio with the footage of videogame I recorded. But when I select both clips and right click, I don't see Auto Sync Audio. What am I doing wrong? I am using the latest version of Davinci Resolve.

Great video Josh!!! Question for anyone: I decided to start recording audio on a recorder for my video. I am currently reviewing several recording device. One obvious thing is this will add to my workflow in post; then I thought: "Ok, let's say I have two days of shoot with about 100 video clips and end up with let's say 125 audio tracks. How to recognize video clips is easy because I would use a clapboard and it would be the first thing I would see on the thumbnail of the file, but what about the audio? how am I suppose to know which audio file belongs to which video file? recorder I saw makes it really slow and quirky to rename audio track. is there another system to use, especially when in a situation of making multi-take of a scene where script and video is the same. how to sort this out in order not to pull my hair in post?

Thank you for this video I used Corel video studio to sync and it did a soso job which i would have to redo the old school way as well, this technique seems to surpass my expectations, fantastic job
