Been using FL STUDIO for 22 Years. Anyone who says FL Studio 11 sounds different is trippin. FL Studio 11 sounds EXACTLY the same as FL Studio 21. I even tested the myth out myself making the exact same record. No change to LUFS whatsoever lol.
ОтветитьPLACEBO!!!!!!. VOLUME!!!!!!!.... people are fucking idiots.... the same audio codec.. the same sample rates.... why the FUCK would they be any different??????
Ответитьalmost all popular music today is made on fl bruh, and its a bunch of old and middle aged ppl with a problem. maybe they should just look at how they produce. or learn to mix a fucking beat if its too loud. add an eq. why are ppl acting like u cant tweak the volume of a beat on fl?😭
ОтветитьNah you guys are just looking back on bad mixes with rose colored nostalgia glasses on. FL does allow horribly clipped mixes to sound ok as opposed to some other DAW's that distort crazy whenever clipped. Same thing on playback hardware tho, some stereos might be able to translate the clipped audio with no audible distortion, while others, like cheap phone speakers playing in mono, will show those mixes were always bad.
ОтветитьSame thing with protools
Ответитьthe real reason producers were stuck in the old version is because 20 wasn't cracked fast lmao
ОтветитьI believe it's literally just because of the default limiter was at +5 or higher dB I believe where as with 20 and later the limiter is set for 0.
So you had thousands of producers making beats in FL 10, FL 11.. that whether they realized it or not, were boosting their entire projects
by 5 dB because of the default FL Limiter. Those that have been in the game for a long time probably just removed the limiter from the
master channel, but I'd go as far as saying 80-90% of the producers out there just left it be and had no clue.
It just comes to me at night
ОтветитьFl 12 was the best in My opinion when I started upgrading it threw my ears off these new fls not the same fr
Ответитьableton is better
ОтветитьThis goes to show you these “producers” don’t actually know a thing about sound engineering lol. Fl studio used to have a limiter on the master track. They removed this in the new versions. People are dumb. All FL studio versions sound the same.
ОтветитьI use it as a tool i couldn't give a fuck what daws the best or who thinks what
Ответитьi like this ad
ОтветитьFL studio users are the flat earthers of the audio production community
ОтветитьIn my experiences - people turned the stock limiter off anyway so it's nothing to do with that, also I have noticed exporting beats I have made on Mac vs Windows on the same version of FL not phase cancelling- they have very slight differences but they definately are not the same - even noticed this reexporting bounces from Intel Macs vs M1 Macs
ОтветитьThe secret is really just gain and a good soft clipper. You can indeed make any daw sound like fl. Like they say, just turn the drums up.
ОтветитьWe been waiting for this video fr!!
ОтветитьImagine using an older version of software just because you don’t understand the limiter is just setup a different way 😂
Ответитьi prefer 11 but not for this reason, mostly for pattern blocks and ui
ОтветитьIt has nothing to do with being louder. People who are mixing on Fruity loops just dont know what they are doing 90% of the time and dont properly balance the mix to -6 or -12 DB. They just send everything out clipping cause uhh " its hitting hard bro" and they dont know any other way to achieve that same dynamic effect without CLIPPING everything.
ОтветитьIdk man I used FL studio since I was 13 . Up until around 19-20 years old I uploaded the same exact drum kits into FL 20 , totally different sound / sample .
ОтветитьFL Studio is louder. Bow to the king of daw. 🌊
ОтветитьDj khaled💀💀bro stfu bout too easy😂😂u can’t even make beats
ОтветитьI think it’s the limiter this is kinda disappointing coming from industry producers fr
ОтветитьA DAW won’t make your drums hit harder
ОтветитьFL is responsible for so many Producers...this is just a mentality like i remember adding an effect and feeling as if something had changed only to realize the effect was actually off.. if you deeply believe in something your brain will cheat you to thinking it's actually real.
ОтветитьFL is dope overall, but 10-12 caught me... and 7 was a catcher too.
ОтветитьI made Ree Rap the Genre.
ОтветитьI legitimately think that these producers are genuinely trying to throw people off of actually understanding the sound that comes out of their speakers. I refuse to accept that all of them can be this stupid and uneducated. I work in FL exclusively for all my mixing (I record bands and very little electronic based music), and come from Pro Tools and there is no inherent difference in sound quality. Its a DAW, its not an analog console. Its not passing the sound through circuitry and transformers that add non-linearities to color the sound. Its a sterile digital environment assuming nothing is on the master bus. We all know its the limiter, and it doesnt even take 5 minutes of research to figure this out, literally open your eyes and click the off button, and it sounds like any other DAW.
You can audition this very easily yourself as well, by loading identical WAVs into two daws without processing, render them, and see if they null (they will). It genuinely boggles my mind how a piece of extremely capable software gets either too much undue praise or a completely bad rep from very knowledgeable professional engineers. The sneers I get when i tell people what I use is genuinely annoying, because its a very, VERY, capable platform, and IMO is just as usable as Pro Tools, albeit different. Its sad when a lot of self described, or even educated audio "engineers", result to fanboyism or downright hipsterism when discussing DAWs, and these producers saying this are making this a way worse problem. Their fanboys will parrot whatever they say, and never learn about what theyre hearing.
TLDR: These "professionals" are complete hacks.
What entertains me is that the FL producers aren't good enough engineers to debunk this and the people that engineer their music don't understand the qualities of FL having barely used it
ОтветитьIs amazing how professional music producers inside the music industry knows so litle about sound.
Ответитьthis just shows how many producers are dummies and would be phuced without the engineers
Ответитьgood to know industry producers are mentally ratarted.
ОтветитьY’all don’t know how to use the limiter
ОтветитьI dont know if they are getting paid or are dumb as hell
ОтветитьTHESE EDITS ARE KILLING ME G LMAOO
ITS CALLED...
TOO EASY
Isn't the volume on FL so you can just push out songs without mastering?
ОтветитьAll my beats are made with FL Studio
ОтветитьThis is why i always have thought people who use FL just want the easiest way to use a DAW. Reminds me of like a toy version of a DAW
ОтветитьIts bullshit all daws sounds the same its just a myth thats it
ОтветитьFail.
ОтветитьMetro comparing himself to a neuroscientist really brought this whole thing home lmao these mfs have no idea what they’re talking about
ОтветитьEy Man, my Shit Bangs in FL studio, and ive engineered my best work in it, FL Studio Changed my life....
ОтветитьThe Biggest problem in current FL is when you chop your audio in and out, if you don't zoom it It cuts the in and out a few millisecond earlier or farther, that souldn't be done so, even if you are in Line Mode, it fucks with the part where you meant to be sliced, it doesn't slice at the point where you clicked, try to zoom and look closely the fucked up part. everything is timing in music, if your chopped sample is not at exact time where you meant to slice it, it screws with the idea from your mind into your music actually, I never encountered this prob in older versions of FL, people mostly doesn't care about these important bits but it actually makes your music sound not the way you meant to sound.
ОтветитьThe Today's fl studio is not like the old ones, it's a fact, I've encountered parts in new version where it screws your track, I can't tell you all the rest but the new FL Studio is not good like it used to be, only people will get it who used fl studio since days back like 2003, 2004 years, the current versions are absolutely not like it used to be. people who uses fl studio nowadays will make fun on our views, but real producers know what the f we are talking. I was thinking all these past years why my tracks aren't sounding the way it used to sound. I have to install back the version 11.
ОтветитьPersonally I love the updates made in FL studio. All these controversy of versions is all superstition to me
