You dont even need the story for RDR2 as RDR2 is set before RDR1

The game, both 1 and 2 are indeed among the best games I ever played. But as far as your narration of the story is concerned, it couldn't have been told with more complexity! Either you explain game, or explain the story. Since it is based on timeline back and forth, people may come to such videos to revisit the actual storyline.

This game never got a pc release so i played rdr 2 was the first I've played and when i played this one I can't unsee that jhon is still a side character also the game is cheap like ps2 standers I can't play this right now

It's amazing how games have changed since I was a kid. From Saving the Princess and getting knocked out 100,000 times by Mike Tyson (NES) to games like RDR with so much of a story you could make a couple movies out the 2 games

They should release this again with the rdr2 engine

RDR3 should be about Arthurs dad's gang and how unknowingly to Arthur he was a total bad ass and Dutch was the youngest in the gang and before he died he told Dutch to look out for the boy and don't tell him about me or something along them lines because it might be better to go back in time so the scale of towns are manageable allowing them to go into insane detail including npc interactions .

I finally got RDR2 Ultimate for 30$ and it's been so long since I played the original, I couldn't remember most of it.

Okay, I finished rd1 after my dad played 80 percent of it. But I just played through all of rd2. Don’t even wanna talk about how much I screamed and cried. But y’all are telling me rockstar deigned the story backwards. Like when I movie starts in the future then goes back to the past to give perspective or whatever? And so now I gotta go play Rd1 to follow the story in chronological order?! I’m just so confused.

They need to make a video game based on the movie tombstone

When I first played this years ago I thought John was the best character in video games and there was no way rockstar could top it. They came close I loved GTA 5 but Red Dead 2 blew my expectations out of the water

Dutch's vision is no less cruel than anything cooperations, rich, and politicians do by exploiting the weak, helpless, and minorities to fit their own agendas and greed sorry. Technology and advancements in civilizations have yet to this day proven to do anything for people other than make them weak, lazy, and ignorant. Instead of reply Ng on themselves and those close to them they seek satisfaction and accomplishment from materials and things with no substance.

I was extremely lucky that I only played the original game a few times as a kid. I got to play this story the way it was supposed to be played! Red Dead 2 first and then Red Dead! Such a gripping narrative!

Just finished the The Game, Rdr1 and rdr2 it's unforgettable Experience, looking forward for another prequel, or sequel whichever Rockstar decided to go more backwards story or continue the story with Jack 🤔
