Why I Only Play WoW Casually Now

I believe actual 1v5 and winning against full cds stacks can only be done with broken stuff.

WoW pvp just isn't fun to watch. The fights are often unreadable, just colourful effects everywhere and health bars bouncing up and down before a player suddenly dies. Pointless.

I've always been a fan of dueling and random battleground pvp videos, I think they're chill and fun.

The only fun thing about you is being a pro ret and that you like naruto.

I totally lost it. When they entered political activism is just DESTROYED the game. No one wants to hear them tell you about wrong-think every every every every day. OMG. Done. Quit. Over. Way over. Recently, they went bankrupt. Microsoft bought them...and....silence. They are taking away the multiple pronoun wacko nonsense and have more than 1 dragon gender. I think...no promises...they are going back to MMO developing and not forcing you to vote for someone.

My goals each season is 2100 on pvp for web mog, then +20s for that cosmetic affect. But I can't seem to balance my life out at all.

The problem is: Most pvp guys realise that PvP is crap and a waste of time once they are at the top. I am not talking about the pve guys who hate pvp anyways.

I have never been a glad. My highest was 1996 in 3s and 2140 in 2s in BFA as a ret.

I always quit due to the fact that it is so hard to find a nice arena team mate. Cause the majority is so damn toxic and leaves after 1 match. But with solo queue things might get more interesting !

Thats just thing now with gaming as a whole, nothing feels prestigious anymore. Unless you're literally the top 0.01% of players competing in some form of pro scene like RWF or AWC for WoW's sake, no one gives a shit what you do lmao. Glad hasn't meant shit for well over 8-10+ years. Mythic raid achieves hell even HOF titles dont mean jack shit.

I quit retail in MoP and downloaded retail just to log in and see what was going on in dragon flight and I was amazed they have only added I think 1 battleground since MoP a decade ago?

I just stoped this game in MOP to invest the same energie in usefull things irl , like have more time with friends , familie , go to the gym , trips ... im much better since than , because for real no one care if im 3k or 2k or 1k rate , i realised that this shit have no good effect in my life , except wasting a lot of time , enrgie and nervs chasing ppls behind pillars.

Stepped out of PVP for a change, and realized, that PvP is not really that high up there

WoW Arena is just not a rewarding game to be at the top of. It's a under-represented mini game inside a much bigger and more popular main game.

Objectively speaking wow arena and bgs are really poor experience vs true pvp games, and the rewards are dog shit, aka no one cares about anything but r1, and its insanely hard to get unless wow has been ur job at some point or another. 0.00001% of people will ever get that. Everyone else has nothing to show for their time and the journey is not fun, so whats the point. Its so much more rewarding to be average/good in a moba/fps vs wow. Mmorpg are cool, but now that im on the outside of it, i feel really bad for people that play wow for the pvp.

Hey Savix, Im a 3k ret on US servers named Zaultwo/Zaulthree (If you remember my name from legion.) I literally took the same path you took. In legion, i went hard, skipped out on BFA, and only really came back in Shadowlands for one push in Season 2 for r1 (didnt get it) and repeat glads. Ill be way more focused on solo queue rated in DF. Ive been following you for years now. Love your content brother. Keep it up!
