Customize your chat view in Microsoft Teams

Is there a way to view chats / boards so that longer messages are NOT collapsed by default?
Currently, I need to expand the view of 90% of the messages my PM's ansd AE's write. I'm sure their intention is to have the entire message seen and understood. Teams seems intent on hiding the majority of that ...or individually clicking "show more" on every message. Makes no sense to me. There must be setting hiding somewhere...

Oh we have had this feature in the education version a while. It is great! Makes it feel like MSN Messanger again. Does take your eyes a while to adjust - but if you pop your chats out its great!
