So you need to travel 2000 blocks to the stronghold, and then almost 600 000 blocks away to find the nether an opened nether portal? Doesn't seem that great IMO

By the way, getting the end eyes in a glitched portal is about as likely as getting a 12 eye in the first place, basically it happens due to a bug where the game calculates if it should fill the portal based on the incorrect chunk, so if the eyes in the frame were in the same chunk as the rest of the portal, they would be filled. So the 1/10^12 chance still had to happen, but being split across a chunk doubles or even quadruples the chance of a pre filled, glitched portal.
