I once tried learning to ride a motorcycle and somehow managed to go 15 mph into a tree. It was pretty fun.

My left leg is partially paralyzed and I've always wanted to ride. So I bought a Honda Africa Twin with the DCT push button shift transmission. Was a big 550lb, tall 1100cc bike to learn on.

I recently ordered my 2nd bike, a 2023 Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP2 (just arrived at the dealership yesterday) and I'll outfit it with a Kiliktronic adaptive shifter to work the foot lever.

I totally agree that once moving, even on the highway it's pretty easy as long as you have your wits about you and ride like no one can see you.

I'm 16, learning from yt, and I don't event have my learner's permit. I don't care, just give me a cool looking bike, quality protective gear and 1 month. I think I'll have some fun. Maybe I'm a squid... So be it. I'm in that place in life right now.

Hey so i got a thumper and shes a 250 and i know she ant a sport bike but i cant let go of the cluch and move without pulling tha throttle i was wondering is normal sorry just wondering.

Is it bad for the bike to pull the clutch and shift down from let’s say 4th to N then coast to stopping? Is it necessary to downshift through every gear?

One question if I know how to ride a bike do I still need msf course?

Hey never commented before when I watched the video but I got an 06 Hayabusa 4 months ago when I came across your video after I almost died because I figured everything out on my own except counter steering (i was trying to steer it like a bicycle at high speeds) so I limped it back home grateful to still be alive after I almost hit a dude head on anything this is same video that taught me how to counter steer lol so thanks bro I appreciate it

I live on a mountain, all my starts are hill starts. all stop signs are hill starts. all red lights are hill starts. when I started I never even had flat ground to play with lol.

I don't know what to do we don't have a motorcycle training class where I stay at but I use to ride motorcycles when I was a kid but I was 17 I'm 41 now I don't remember how to ride that was years ago 😢😢

So I’m a short guy 5’2” and never been on a street legal bike on the road, I’ve ride dirt bikes when I was a kid. I’m looking for a bike with a low seat but able to keep up on interstates bc I travel quite a bit, what would you suggest for a beginner bike?

By far the best video I've seen covering this category. Leaps and bounds above the rest. I loved the POV of control of your body, up/down shifting. Cruising the neighborhood just getting down the fundamentals. All that was like I was doing it myself. This was like one of those "how to for dummies" books

My buddy tried to teach me on his duke 390 but my new rider nerves got worse as my friend started to freak out and yell at me not to drop the bike and wanted me to to learn how to do everything almost instantly and wanted me to be able to ride on the streets within 5 minutes of me even sitting on the bike. So videos like this that are are calm are so helpful. I’m definitely going to take the MSF next month though. Thanks a ton for the video!

problem i'm having is this. i have my permit, just got it today. the test was insanely easy. but i don't know how to ride. no one will teach me, so the only way to really do it is to buy one. but the problem then is getting the thing home. and learning how to ride on a bike i don't know how to ride, its a bit of a predicament. should I just go ahead and get one then just learn as i ride it home? i have gear already, everything but the bike. i just don't know how to ride and no one can teach me how to do it in person

clutch works same as manual car, if you can drive a manual, learning the motorcycle clutch is very easy
