Currently running gtx 1660 super. As a student using unreal 5 for landscape and architecture modeling, would the RTX 3060 improve performance?

Is this run on 1080p or 2, 4K?
Im wondering about 3060 vs 3060ti, is 12gb from 3060 more useful than 3060ti with it speed? Or speed more usefull than 12gb vram?

when you did the test with the rtx 3060, did you still keep the resolution in 4k? because I imagine that in 1080p it should run much better.

Did you ever do a benchmark with rendering time using render queue? I'm in the market for faster render time. My 2070 is way too slow.

All dlss is super sampling. Amd has had it too for years but never marketed it. Basically its takes a higher rez and crunches it to your target resolution. Basically the opposite of of upscaling but with better results because math. Apart from raytracing amd rebranded super sampling as fidelityfx is just as good as dlss. Ive run Stray at 60fps 1080p on a ryzen no gou laptop using amd super sampling slider in adrenalin set to 60%>

I want to get the Lenovo 5 with 3060 but when Witcher 4 comes out using Unreal Engine 5........ i still want that 100fps........ im thinking everything will be obsolete.

I don't think it's really important to run at 4k. People who buy a 3060 will most likely have 1080p monitor...

DLSS is amazing. I love and use it every time I play due to using 4k monitor. If you have less than 4k monitor, dlss doesn't do much hence why people think it isn't awesome, but it is.

why are you testing 4k with a 3060? who games at 4k on a 3060 with an engine thats like 6 months old

If not making real-time games, Just export the video after making the scene, Does the requirement for graphics card not need to be very high? It's just that it takes a little longer to export the video.

normally, you dont buy a x060 card, when you plan to play in 4k. Would have been nice to see the outcome in FullHD and/or WQHD...

Which do you find more performant dlss or TSR? I find dlss to cause too many artifacts on foliage but my fps is shocking on my system.

How does DLSS compare to Unreal engine's own upsampling tech? I tried it on Crash Bandicoot 4 and came away impressed how good it looked rendering at 66% resolution of 4K and how close it looked to native.

think you could do a tutorial of how to add DLSS functionality to a game? Maybe I missed it if you did so already.

It's hell over here with my 1070

3060 is more a gaming grade .
3090 is more a workload grade.
Although the 3060 should be enough ,the 3060 is a better investment if you use as a gaming card. 300€ at retail price 😌
