Hey man we need some QoL updates in the Steam version.
The game is great (obviously) but I was talking with some friends who also like DF and we kinda agree that graphics was one of the main reasons people didn't try this game before so this new version is amazing! The second point that hold some people back are the menus that ain't the best yet (the original DF even had some amazing mods to fix that) so we all believe that enhancing the UI/UX can make this game hit with console players or even people who only play on cellphones that are too busy working/studying and can't play games at home.
Keep the amazing work, thanks for all your efforts with this project, you guys deserve all the success.

About 15 years ago I started playing this in high school, taught me so much about rocks etc it helped with my school marks (geography) and career choices, my teachers started playing it even. Nostalgic to be back playing it again, trying to remember the layouts i used as a youth

Oh, for those who can't afford the steam version, you can play for free, you won't have the same controls or the quality of life improvement (I am quite sure you can install mods to be better or at least close to the steam version) but the game still the same, and you might think, why are we paying for this? Why not? On my eyes, is completely worth it, is a passion project of two brothers for YEARS, and the game live up to such expectations, if my dummass can understand the basic, anyone can!

I have played alot of different games both this year and in genereal also finished alot. Now i know this games inst a game you can finish and thats is allright. Still this is one of those games that i have heard a little off on the net from time to time, and that i generally get the feeling that for what it sets out to do , it really does well and that those who have played it really like it. I mean this is one of those games that i get a feeling or perhaps feeling is wrong that i get the impression is both a legendary and a iconic game. I will almost defentily buy this on steam , when some developers have used 20 years on this game, thats just crazy (in a positive way). So yeah this is one of those "older" games that i will have to really think about trying.
