Before watching the entire video. To avoid carbs, and all that goes with gmo grains, I use spaghetti squash "noodles" for my "Steven's killer spaghetti" recipe.
Thanks for the video!
I love the way you do the work for us . Your a star
ОтветитьI wonder if tossing in a little olive oil will break up the texture.
ОтветитьI wonder if it worked better in the baked stuff because it got to cook more and absorb more water?
ОтветитьLove me an honest review.
ОтветитьHow does this pasta compare to Dennis's pasta?
ОтветитьMaybe it's like the difference between romaine lettuce and spinach? Romaine is a nice, crisp, clean bite. Spinach is not a crisp bite and definitely leaves a coating on the teeth
ОтветитьThanks for the discount code! I just ordered a 3 pack from Amazon. Looking forward to trying something new.
ОтветитьSomehow I missed this video until now. Based on your review, I'm definitely willing to give it a try. Having the coupon code makes the price a little easier to 'swallow'. Pun intended. But seriously, thank you and the family for the honest review.
ОтветитьI hope you are right, I ordered 6 packages from Amazon. Thanks for 20% off.../US
ОтветитьI have a recipe for these noodles. I really would like to try them even if I don’t win. I usually use healthy noodle and it doesn’t hold up well to a tomato sauce. -US
ОтветитьAre you going to review the Lupini rice? If not, did you like it?
ОтветитьMy order just arrived. Summertime coming and I can make pasta salad again!! Thanks for this review. Life is good.
ОтветитьLupini noodles mouth feel reminds me of Lima beans. Not a fan.
ОтветитьI’m glad that there are more choices for pasta but I still have a problem with the cost of any of these products. Some of us just can’t afford them. 😢
ОтветитьHave you thought about doing a noodle comparison with Kaizen foods pasta and Lupin Pasta by lulu pasta then along with Aviate pasta?? I trust all your videos. All of my family and friends think your recipes and videos are the bomb.🎉
ОтветитьHi Steve! I used the Lupini rice to make macaroni salad! It was awesome ❤
ОтветитьTried the lupini pasta and I think it got that bean taste and like a bean it fills you up pretty fast. 58g per serving seems a whole lot. Does get better when you make your meat sauce and as leftovers for a couple of days. Making it as a ziti or lasagna using the leftover pasta is much better.
ОтветитьNice ink! Can you tell me what your tattoos say and or stand for?
ОтветитьThere's no substitute for real pasta, but I guess if you can be happy with "Alfredo sauce that comes out of a jar you might be satisfied with lupin based pasta. I'm not. I prefer actual Italian Fettucine al Burro but I can go with the American version that adds cream. I rate jarred Alfredo sauce a solid notch below macaroni and cheese that comes out of a box. I've made all varieties of "keto" pasta....some of it edible, but not edible enough to pay the high prices to buy it from a store or to be worth the effort to make it at home. There are some things that so far at least just can't be made keto......potatoes and pasta are 2 of them. Some substitutes I'd just rather do without. The alternative is to just occasionally eat limited portions of the real thing and manage your carb intake.
ОтветитьIs the texture of the Lupini pasta similar to chick pea pasta? or lentil pasta? have you had those? They are denser and I dunno, don't feel like real pasta either.
ОтветитьWish pasta wasn't so carby ( is that a word?). I've yet to find a substitute I like. Jovial comes close but it is still pretty high in carbs though they use cassava flour. I hope some day someone will come out with a good product , but every once in a while I enjoy eating Italian food.
ОтветитьSince I count total carbs, this is not a low carb food, for me, anyway.
ОтветитьMmm 😋 ty
Ответить6 months later and haven’t stopped buying and eating this pasta. I think it’s pretty awesome stuff!
ОтветитьI think “gummy” is a good description. I haven’t tried the pasta but have tried their rice and although the taste is good it is very gummy and sticks to your teeth.
For just rice these days I prefer the Palmini white rice. The texture and shape is spot on. It does have that slight tang but once you add other stuff - I add mushrooms and onions sometimes or a sauce. You can’t detect it.
For pasta the keto Asian Flavors is the best and even my guests like it.
I've had some of this in my pantry for a few months but didn't know anything about it, nor have I tried it. Do you think it would be a weird texture to put in a soup? I saw a keto lasagna soup recipe today, and I was wondering how this pasta would be in it. I love lasagna.
ОтветитьWhat’s going on with the mic here? It sounds like you guys are in a studio.
ОтветитьDo the Aviate products spike your blood sugar?
ОтветитьI love how kids just tell it like it is
Ответить4 Sevings?! ...ROFLMO Thanks to wife and daughter for honest reviews. Have you tried the Homemade Keto spaghetti from Keto Asian Flavors? Game Changer!! I've been a long time fan of Shirataki noodles but have been getting cost prohibitive. These noodle are a little more work, but totally worth it for me. Texture and flavor is amazing.
ОтветитьLove their products!
ОтветитьHow bad is the intestinal discomfort after eating this high fiber pasta?
ОтветитьAre you going to try the kaizen pasta? Would like a good honest review from someone before trying.
ОтветитьWhat comprises the “natural flavors”?
ОтветитьDoes it bother your gut?
ОтветитьIngredients has Sunflower flour and tapioca fiber. Have you ever tested your glucose with these?
ОтветитьAbout to cook these. Love how you look like you just came from a too long day at the beach at the dinner table 😂
ОтветитьI used this stuff in a nice meat heavy sauce. Texture is good and doesn't taste funny. But holy moly it gives you some EF-2 level farts! Like for days.
