Beginner's Guide To ALL STANDARD 5 STAR CHARACTERS in Honkai: Star Rail

quick overview of all the characters, not going too indepth since i feel like we're too early game for full guides to be meaningfully be put out

I have only bronya and her contellations from the standard banner

I got yanqing in trailblaze 10-12 i am currently 19 . He is just carrying me , killing everything in 1 E

I got baited into going all in the standard mainly for the free character you get qhen you make 300 pulls , im at 180ish now but i dont have much in 5 stars to show for it i only have my 1 gepard who i got as my early game 5 star then i got a light cone and a E1 gepard .... Lol im taking a break from it to go kafka thou

Yan qing and Gerard have been my saving grace with most of the bosses. I really want welt tho 🥲

Should i get Himeko or yanqing? I need a good dps from the 300 pull reward

I got himeko as my first 5*, i put her in the same team with herta serval and natasha, easy grinding for me

My wish: Getting Bronya, Gepard or Bailu
My first 5 star: Welt
My second 5 star: ...Welt

pulled 40 and still no 5 star characters 💀

I alr have Yanqing, Himeko, and Welt... but I really want either Gepard or Clara, no matter how much people say that Bronya is the one to have.

a few combos can really pull u through in early game (and later as well, provided theres no power creep)
bailu + any combo of parties (bailu is a life saver bruh)
himeko + herta (herta- available as a free character ingame)
gepard + yangqing (my fav memory of chaos team so far)
himeko + clara (underrated but works pretty well in my opinion)
trailblazer + bronya + dan heng + march (low investment, high output team)

got welt as my first 5*, i wanted yanqing initially but then i started using him and damn hes a great unit.
i love that with hsr the standard 5* are all pretty valuable! maybe cause it's early game but nonetheless.

welt is zhongli? so who is dan heng?

my first 5 star was Welt and I then later lost my 50/50 to Yanqing. Both have added incredible value to my team and I absolutely love how different they are. I actually wouldn't be disapppointed if I got more standard 5 stars in the future, given that they won't get powercrept too badly ofc

Gepard got me hard by his design but welt has been my favorite even at honkai impact so Imma go for him at the "choose one 5*" thing at standart banner

Ok.....so I did what he told not to do because I was on the guaranteed 5 star beginner banner.....do I reroll or just go with it? I used 640 Stellaris jade...also someone tell is jade rare?

I got Bronya quite early but I’ve ended up benching her for some of the harder battles. I use the mc for main damage and Serval fro that extra bit of offensive power for my team then a use Natasha because my team needs healing incredibly often then the last slot is alternating between March and Bronya, March is just a really solid character to pair with Natasha since you are almost guaranteed to be able to save one person against the small bosses and her freeze is so useful for me. Bronya is definitely useful but she just hasn’t made a solid impression on me yet

I got Yanqing from the 50 discounted pulls , then after 37 pulls got Himeko . And once i reach 300 standard wishes , i will get Bronya ( if not earlier) . With Yangqin as single target dps , Himeko AOE dps with the opposite element (occasionally useful) and Bronya buffing either one when needed , and then i only need to build Natasha :D

I know that I should not use gem for rhe standard. But how long will it take to get the 50 pulls.

I dont plan to reroll, but I want to save up my mats and wants to know early how and who should I build around the 5 star that I get

I really want Bailu cuz i need her for another team. Bonus point is shes cute lol

I love that scrolling through the comments most of them are like "I pulled X and they made my game better" because it really shows how much valuable these 5* are in early game no matter who you have got

I am from Yanqing nation and ma boi is absolutely carrying my ass through content

I got Yanqing from the starter banner and I can now conclude that the hunt has the best characters

Imma ftp and got lucky with balu, himeko, seele, and welt … Genshin needs to step up when I still can’t get diluc but I got c6 Mona and qiqi

I got Gepard. He’s not who I wanted but he definitely makes my team immortal in a lot of the content

Are there any bonuses for running a team with like two Fire?(like element resonance in Genshin)

i ended up pulling welt as my 5 star

Himeko is just funny as in: Here you go slap her into any random team and enjoy her nuke the entire enemy team

First i got Welt, tried my luck on Seeles Banner and got her twice. After that i got her Weapon and i wonder where my luck in Genshin is😅

I got very lucky, got welt from my standard starter banner, then somehow managed to get seele using the 10 free special tickets they gave out on the 30th. So I've made a team of seele, welt, natasha and tingyun. Is this a good comp? Not sure if I need a buff and debuff as well as healer?

Not me spending my primogems of Honkai Star Rail to perform a 10 pull, and got Yanzing

I got the white armor guy from the standard i think and the glasses Zhongli from losing 50/50

I got Himeko and i am so happy! She and Kafka are my absolute favorites. From the 4 stars i like Dan Heng, Sushang and Tingyun (already got Ting as she is amazing!)

Still trying to pull for Seele tho. I want to build a BronyaSeele team in the future 😊. At least we can choose one five star after reaching 300 pulls on the standart, so i can be sure Bronya is coming home one day 😂❤🎉
