ОтветитьEmbrace, Extend, Extinguish!
It never ends.
Came looking where to download atom, watched this video, downloaded pulsar-edit portable
Ответитьdamn, I have long since switched to Sublime, but atom was always a nice editor that I used to use a bunch! major rip, that hurts a little. I think the greatest benefit of atom was its packages, use to open it up every now and then just for them, really sad.
Ответитьwell I did run atom. till today, because for some reason when I opened it. it was no longer the same program. not sure if it hit another deadline today or mine just broke. but time get a new code editor xD
ОтветитьBeen using Zed for a few months and it's great! Biggest con for now is no Linux support but the editor and the community is great! Let me know if anyone needs a beta invite 😅
ОтветитьSame thing they have done with Skype
ОтветитьI loved Atom. It really broke my heart when I find they (MicrofuckingSoft) were going to kill it. I switched to VScode, it's really good but I'm not loving it. I will follow closely Pulsar and Zed
ОтветитьI use VSCodium
ОтветитьDead ok I’ll just learn to use vim lol
ОтветитьSounds like a lot of frustration, just use vs code.
ОтветитьThat's not completely right about Zed, the only part of it which is not open source (for now) is the co-op part of it. The main dev said it in his presentation video.
Ответитьi don't care whatsoever! 😛
ОтветитьOne word: Lapce.
ОтветитьTake a look at Pulsar! Atom's legacy continues!
ОтветитьI might considder Zed depending on if it uses electron, or anything web based, or if it is native.
ОтветитьI'm using Zed at the moment, and for what I use it for its pretty limited. I'm keeping my eye on the project as it progresses. Eager to see where the devs go
ОтветитьThis is not an issue, there is VSCode.
