There are 4 static caves with TONS of ores. These have no worms in them. The ones in the deserts (one in eastern desert and and one in western desert) each have enough ore to to start making composites.

Predators near a carcass will continue to visit that spot, even if you clear the carcass.

The hunting rifle is much better than a bow. You can one shot any creature and it can shoot six times before reloading. It's T4 though.

If you only play solo, get all of the solo talents before any other talents.

stone shelters will also have roof collapse under the weight of snow.

Two fires in the arctic brings you up to 20 C. During a storm, you can use three!

You can just put a ramp next to a wall and duck under that for shelter

Why do you get the 02 and canteen? is just so you don't need to craft them your self? or are you doing missions on one breath? they seem too easy to craft in game to bother with

Need fiber? Make ropes from lether and dismantle them into fiber ;)

You can simply put the knife away by... double tapping the assigned number just as the skinning animation starts to save durability I think. At least it seems like I'm losing nothing, usually stone knife only yields like... 4 skinning before breaking, using that trick allowed me to skin far more than that before upgrading to the bone blade.

Are you sure, the polar-bears can be hunted down as wel like the normal bears? Because i got killed seeral times by a polar bear, while trying to pass them by. yesterday.

Hello, I have two level 99 characters and I agree with much of what you're saying, but I don't think the canteen and o-tank are necessary I usually load out with the full armor, 2 modules, a pick, a bow and a knife. This is especially helpful to complete deep vein e. in about 30 minutes. Also, I do recommend getting Strong Shoulders, but only so you can get see enemy health bars, because it's too good to pass up, especially if you're caught out at night or in low visibility brush and it also helps to see dangerous polar bears through walls.

The AI in the game sucks. The respawns are hell incarnate, sometimes you can even get attacked by more than 5 predators at once and then another 4-5 will appear out of thin ice. The aggro range also sucks, they even made non hostile animals attacking you when you kill predators, lmao. Bears and elephants climb straight on rocks and ledges with super speed, glitching on mountain sides or can detect you through solid rock.

The Killcam makes you deal more damage with Bows, and guarantees hits and kills that might "really" have been misses.

Additionally, the Strong Shoulders talent sucks, but you have to pick it up to get THE BEST TALENT IN THE GAME, which is right beneath it: "Heath Bars".
Health Bars lets you see animals coming, through trees and walls and from a long distance away.

I disagree with you, 9 points into pickaxe and it becomes twice as good. Best return on investment in terms of talent points.

This killcam is pretty annoying but on the other hand I have the feeling, that it allows you much easier to hit the target in the head.
It feels like an small aimbot.
Not sure if it is only my feeling, but it seems like it.
Can someone proof it, or is it just imagination ^^?
