Cool 'barn', and interesting that Richard's persona at home seems so surprisingly down-to-earth and much more subdued, than his usual snappy, quick-witted banter as an official 'presenter' ... almost like just another typical suburbanite showing around his digs, albeit packed with probably nearly a mil worth of motoring 'collectibles'!

Wouldn't take much to turn the pool room into an indoor trout stream "aquarium" and atrium for added addition for hanging out in/entertaining value.

Just make a subfloor over that pool. If it's just to park bikes, and it's for Hammond.. don't need a ton of head room.. It is added value to the property but if youre never moving, get rid of it.

Richard I am a builder and a solution to you pool problem is to create another step above the pool an put a removable concrete slab that is reinforced and then place your motor cycles above the pool . Drain the pool first , that way should you ever want the pool back simply remove the lid. Just an idea. PS love your Triumph Bonnieville I have one my self I need to restore. I have the 1970 with black and white fuel tank. Cheers Mate

I'm only slightly jealous. I love the bikes in almost every corner in every room, I would do the exact same if I had them. What I would do with the swim spa (or whatever you called it) is keep it, clean it out and make it my business to use it. Makes no sense to cut it up and remove it if you spent so much money on it.
