My concrete stairs are broken and sand and gravel are exposed. Do you recommend a complete tear down and a new construction? I’m on a tight budget. I’d rather repair it if possible.

if there was not already a brick risers, would you first coat them then the stair tread surfaces? also wondering what products you used - for cleaning the surface, for concrete repairs, and for the skim coat. can the same product be used to skim coat and resurface? have also seen where folks are using concrete mixes with other fortifiers to generate longevity. what do you recommend? i skim coated over the previous owner having artificial turf adhesived to the stairs. did not know to remove the adhesive, but it lasted about 12 years. now however, the cracking is substantial and not just on the surface. will need to craft the same batons to redo an entire broken corner, so am happy to have seen the how to in this vid. thanks!

This  is a waste of  good money and a lot elbow grease because it is only going to last about  one or  two years  then the resurfacer will  loosen up crumble and chip  away.    And also  getting concrete to have  solid bond when you use it  to fill  in  big missing corner  which has broken off  is not something that will work well.

For the "vid not complete" complainers, you can pretty much imagine it's going to look like concrete...you know what that looks like right?

had this issue happen as well. harsh winters and road salt will destroy resurfacer after a few years. A teardown and repour is usually the best solution. Add structual fiber hairs to your wet concrete.

It will not last because it is made using Quikrete.......I am a stone mason apprentice, you must use portland cement. Mix 3 buckets of sand and ah bucket of portland type 2 cement...dry mix it real good....Also just saying who the fuck mixes up Quikrete with a power tool.....How does this have 96,000 views lol

Why didn't you show the steps once it was completely cured and all the "crumbs" were cleaned up??????? I see you also haven't replied to previous questions. Why provide a video and then fail to follow up?
