ОтветитьAnd the people are like “huh🤔” fucking killed me 😂
ОтветитьTRULY A VICTORY FOR THE FORCES OF JUSTICE!!!
ОтветитьRed: "Please no Slash fics."
How about Stab fics?
I’d say Christopher a Columbus finding America was far from an innocuous day.
ОтветитьTo be fair Flavius jumped out of the story because he was being assassinated by Bayek of Siwa
Ответить"I wish i could be that funny"
Good news, it's been 9 years since you posted this and you are absolutely that funny.
Why am I watching videos from a decade ago
ОтветитьFuckin hell your art style has evolved sense then
ОтветитьEach time Brutus makes a dumb decision, take a shot
ОтветитьRed: "Something about a bunch o bees I think...."
Blue: *"JOY-GASM!!!"*
WHERE WAS THIS CHANNEL ALL MY LIFE?!?!?!??
ОтветитьMy recent obsession with Rome put some vintage OSP in my recommendations today
ОтветитьFamously 44 BC!
ОтветитьUsing this as a preview to reading the play for high school sophomores. Having taught the play with and without this as a preview, I can confidently say it makes a measurable difference in both reading comprehension and enjoyment. True story.
ОтветитьHappy Ides of March, everyone!
ОтветитьThumbs up this comment if you’re watching this on March 15th.
ОтветитьDoes this video get more views around this time of year? Cause it should.
ОтветитьGotta say, coming back to old Shakespeare videos really puts a shine on Blue, because before Red had to regularly run to Wikipedia for information lol
Ответить💗
ОтветитьRed really did look sketchy back then.
ОтветитьCeaser fainting because of peasants with halitosis sounds like a gd shitpost XD
Ответить".... you could forget that he's quite literally giving the actors their stage directions."
"¿É tu, Brué?"
"Ét mois, Cesar...."
Oh, my goodness, he's actually literally saying his co-stars lines for them!!!
I'd forgotten the Asterix comics existed. Thank-you.
Ответить"WHAaaaat*ever*" remains one of the best lines ever, even after, like, almost two decades.
ОтветитьTruly a victory for the forces of Justice!
ОтветитьNot the fallen kingdom ending
ОтветитьThe masses:....
....
Marc Antony: Why tf aren't y'all doing anything?....
The masses:....
....
Marc Antony: Oh, shit, yeah, MONEY
The masses: RRRAAAAAAAA, DIE, BRUTUS, DIE, RRRAAAAAA
ADDENDUM: Red: "....he's quite literally giving the actors their stage directions."
Cesar: "Et tu, Brute? Et moia, Cesar."
Holy shit, Cesar actually said Brutus's line for him.
My birthday is actually the ides of March! This is the one interesting thing I can tell people about it, lol
ОтветитьCaesar was handed reports from his spies while walking into that Senate meeting, warning him. He didn’t bother to read them.
ОтветитьFriend: Why aren't SEPtember, OCTober, NOVember and DECember the 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th month? Whoever screwed this up should be stabbed...
Me: Well, I have some excellent news for you!
Not my joke, nor is it historically accurate since I think Augustas added July and August, does it still make me laugh, ABSOLUTELY
Iirc every time Brutus shows up in Asterix either Julius Caesar is unthinkingly insulting/condescending to him, causing Brutus to think “one of these days I’m gonna SNAP” or something to that effect and/or Caesar happens to say something similar to “et tu, Brute?” (Which would be the same in French as it is in Latin, conveniently enough)
Ответитьwhat is the Important message from the description?
ОтветитьI once had an argument with my former boss and took the “But Brutus is an honorable man” thing to make my point….it works XD
ОтветитьOkay, okay, gotta say, kinda fascinating coming at this year and seeing Red all the way back then--some things are so similar and some are sooo much better now. Still, for early YT videos, not bad!
ОтветитьOkay that song choice is perfect
ОтветитьMarch 15 is also the date when the anti-Habsburg revolution started in Hungary, 1848. I just wanted to add that, because I haven't seen that on the list of "Stuff that happened on the 15th of March."
ОтветитьSo basically this was a brilliant victory for the forced of justice.
ОтветитьCassius Obvious
Ответить"No slashfic!" &immediately segues into a balcony scene parody&
