Ok you needed to find a real Philadelphia born and raised person to take you on a tour. None of your spots would make the list. No visit to Chubby's, D'allesandro's, Gooey Louies...Hell the Papi stores make better steaks than your list!
Ответитьmake some noise for Leo’s tho..
ОтветитьNone of the big names compare to hundreds of neighborhood joints. There is no " big debate" of Pats/ Genos. They suck. The good places..they barely speak english. U could tell they got TV with soap operas on..so they lesrn english. Just don't b a fool and order " philly steak" in town. Its a steak sandwich..thanks
ОтветитьWhat are your top 3 favorite type of fries to have while eating a Philly cheesesteak?
Mine are:
1. Steak
2. Waffle
3. Crinkle cut
Tourist trap overpriced Pat's & Gino's would not even be in my top 200 cheese steak places in Philly. hard to believe in this day & age that at least one of these two dumps do not accept a credit card. I use my 3% cash back credit card for everything and seldom carry more then $30 in cash. Usually will give the tip at restaurants in cash. Nice vidio.
ОтветитьWE think Pat's started using an inferior grade of meat and ceased going there years ago in favor of Tony Luke's now called Tony and Nick's on Oregon Ave.
ОтветитьI'm from Philly and never had genos or pats
Ответить🐩Please don’t include Pats or Genos in any list which includes the words, best, or top.
ОтветитьI’m from Philadelphia glad you liked the cheesesteaks
ОтветитьAs far as Geno’s and Pat’s go, there’re not good in my personal opinion, not only are they too touristy but their quality isn’t good. I prefer Jim Steaks, Steve’s Prince of Steaks and a few other places in Delco but that’s not Philly.
ОтветитьIF YOU WANT THE BEST CONEYS AND CHILI COME TO DETROIT
ОтветитьI switched to a next video after I seen the chicken cheese steak 🤯🤯🤯
ОтветитьPhilly cheese 🧀
ОтветитьCheese wiz 🤢
ОтветитьI forget what it’s called but I like the place at the Reading Terminal Market
ОтветитьIf you knew the shit that is in cheese whiz you would not order it.
ОтветитьI sense a distinct Filipino accent..😉
ОтветитьDude...before you do a review of Philly food...please get the terminology right. You have no idea how to review Philly food. JL Jupiter you are NOT!
ОтветитьLike you said, everyone has different tastes. I come up from MD every year with guys for a cheesesteak crawl, doing anywhere from 6-8 in a day, each taking a portion of 2-3 sandwiches. Some of our favorites match...big fans of Tony Lukes, Dalessandros, Sonny's, JRP. If you want to do a NJ run one day, look up Lillo's and Brynn Bradleys. But Max's and Angelo's are also strong contenders in Philly along with pure taste delight in the Reading Terminal from By George (homemade cheese sauce!) and Molly Malloys. Thanks for the blog...
ОтветитьI like By George in Reading Terminal
ОтветитьIt’s Jim’s all day
ОтветитьI love my kippsters. Cute little cameo. I went to Kipp in Baltimore and now my kid goes to kipp in Charlotte
ОтветитьCheese wiz is disgusting.
ОтветитьSteve’s Prince of steaks.
ОтветитьIt's sad to see that Geno's and Pat's have succumbed to tourist hell and that their products have lost quality. I'd like to also add that a cheese steak isn't chicken and it's not pork. Adding peppers and other things just dilutes what the historic cheese steak was, a working mans quick , no frills, cheap meal, then back to work. I wonder if Ralph and Rickie's or Chickie's Italian deli are still around in South Philly. From what my family tells me and a small memory, those were far better then the tourist traps and offered really good hoagies beyond the cheese steak.
ОтветитьDalessandros is definitely a good one. My favorite is Pudge's in Blue Bell.
ОтветитьNobody from the city goto to genos or pats also when you in Philly it’s just a cheesesteak
ОтветитьGo to little Italy, there’s a half a dozen there that are hands down better than the tourist cheese stakes.
ОтветитьI've tried Pat's, Geno's, Tony Luke's, Dalessandro's, and Chubby's. They were all pretty good. Now to try some of these places!
ОтветитьI never been to Philly but from all the vids ive watched, comments say Tony Lukes is best
ОтветитьThe original Ishkabibles cheese steaks way better bro. It’s a reason you can get food quicker at the second one. 😂
Ответить#1 IS THE ONE YOU DONT EAT[DR KILLDARE]
ОтветитьMAX'S North Philly
Ответить“Max’s steaks in Germantown”😄😭😄 How are you scared to go to North Philly and Max’s is literally on Broad & Erie. I’ve got news for you buddy, you were smack dab in North Philly. I should know, I went to Simon Gratz high school. Right around the corner.
ОтветитьPat’s is way too salty and is microwave quality at best.
ОтветитьPats and Genos are both garbage. If I want to taste and belch and fart all the way home (Portland OR) I grab one on my way to the airport. I love Steve's on St Vinceny (in NE Philly, my old hood. Also, best eaten at 1 to 3 AM on the weekend). Always get provolone on my sammich. And fried onions. Peppers if available and cherry peppers and pickles on the side. As well as cheese fries. Cause. That's how this Philly girl rolls!
ОтветитьI had Jim's steaks the last time I was in Philly. I was not impressed by it. I did try Ishkiblbles the next day and I liked it better than Jim's. I don't do the Cheez wiz.
ОтветитьDalessandro's #1
ОтветитьPat's & Genos are for tourists. and are not considered by locals. No real Cheesesteaks contain "Wiz"
ОтветитьIshkibibels is the woooooooorst!!! I rather go hungry
ОтветитьThe best cheese steak is at Leo's in Folcroft PA any body from Philly who lives near the airport. I drove for yellow cab and and drove the cheese steak tour around Philly! Pats and Geno's are not the best, Leo's beats everyone in Philly!! Deplama's off Vine Strret, FooFoo's and Italian Kitchen in Yeadon smoke chech the downtown shops.
ОтветитьAdd pickles and tomato sauce.
ОтветитьIf your going to do a review on cheesesteaks... do all cheesesteaks and show your sandwiches at each location. Plus I'd love to see a side by side of them all.
Worst review ever
My guy messed the whole experience up by ordering chiken stakes and mushrooms. Also why not hit up steves
ОтветитьWoodrows is the best
Hands down
Pats and Genos is garbage. Everyone knows that. Another sandwich to try at Tony Luke's (Tony and Nicks) is their sausage and peppers. It's excellent and about $3 cheaper than a cheesesteak or roast pork
ОтветитьI'm hungry as crap now!!!!
