I genuinely started off as street kid first time through worked out well because of all the dialogue chances I’ve been given from it but nomad works very well for Panam’s Story line corpo I’ve never really got into because it seems to be a half and half kind of pro/con situation.

I started nomad because for some reason the game didnt let me choose. Everyone kept telling me to try corpo netrunner and all this crap i still dont understand. I went through CC thoroughly and have no clue what i am other than streetkid

I think the corporate starter is very thematically and storyline-enhancing. Both since Arasaka is basically the main antagonist force of the game, and its cool to fight against it as a former member of that "evil" force, and it makes the corpo dialogue options in the main story feel like you are fighting Arasaka with their on weapons in a sense.

Its also a good starter if you wanna play a good guy, as loosing everything in the opening mission followed by your initiation into the street life can be seen as a very humbling experience, especially after you have technically fallen from grace TWICE at that point once the prologue act ends. Also this gives a lot better reasons for Johnny and V to not get along with each other until they both gradually grow as people, more so than the other origins I think.

After this, the Star-ending would be the best ending for a good corpo playthrough, as a bittersweet and satisfying message about how there are more important things to life than money, power and fame.
