Suzuki Gsxr600 good first motorcycle/entry level bike? MUST SEE!

400 is an entry level bike. 600 used right can whoop any 1000 and a 600 used wrong can also get you in some trouble

300 cc or even a 125 is the best beginner bike those who say 600 is beginner bike be it a gsxr haven't rode a bike in their life 600 won't give you a second chance if you don't respect the road and the bike

I got a gsxr600 a month ago Im knowledgeable of the power and it is my first bike I’ve only ridden mini bikes and yk small automatic backyard things, but I do know I am learning on it payed it in full with my own money super proud of myself and can’t wait to get all the paperwork and license and all that good stuff see y’all on the road stay safe.

I’m definitely going to buy one this winter. I don’t have any experience but I will pay for the classes and all. Everyone I know says to respect the bike and you will be fine.

I’ve never ridden motorcycles but I want to start in a gsxr just because of the power modes, and the lower seat. I know the power and believe I will be ok, I think I’ll just baby it for a month or so. Is that a good idea. I’m 23 btw

The bike is a basically track bike. What's it like at slow speeds, coming to lights, emergency stops, slow rides likes walking speed in your training school. I imagine the bike becomes super heavy under 10mph.

i rode dirt bikes for the longest time and got a 300 as a first bike, honestly got bored very quick and wanted something bigger after the novelty of riding on the street wore off. on a small bike like that its kinda like the first time driving a car, its cool at first but loses its excitement so i think if you already know how to ride and trust yourself id say go for it.

Ik it has a lower setting so I’ll definitely stay on that since it will be my first bike

I went to a dealer and wanted this as my first bike and they really didn’t want to sell to me because they were saying a 600 would be too much for a beginner. I’ve been racing dirt bikes for years (450’s) and they still seem to not care, would you think I’d be ok on one?

Planning on getting my first bike pretty soon like within 3 months, and I think I’ve set my mind on a GSXR600, as it’s the most comfortable out of all the bikes I sat on, I’m not a tall person by any means and the GSXR makes me feel very well planted on the bike.

You have to be responsible on any bike 😂 did you just do a wheelie 😂 I was on a Suzuki once well twice but one time I was in the back as usual and my friend did a wheelie, I’m so light that drivers don’t even feel I’m in the back 😂 Cheers mate

I learned how to ride on a gsxr 600. Brand new bike at the time, so a break in period really helped while learning as i could not rev above 8k rpm. In C mode it wasnt so bad.

I went three weeks ago to buy a 600 for my first bike but the dealer said 600's are being bought out like hot cakes. Ended up leaving with a 750 lmao been having a blast though

There is no way I would recommend a GSXR600 to a beginner lol. Bike feels tame till it goes high into the RPMS and then you shit yourself lmao
