great video 😄
ОтветитьBeen driving for 3years now and i still stall , when i do i blame the car and move on
ОтветитьI had great clutch control, till I moved to petrol, getting my new petrol car soon and on my test drive I didn’t stall but I was pulling off so slow
ОтветитьMany thanks. Past test in 1990, last drove in 1994, and now enduring the painful process of relearning...
ОтветитьI really needed this video today.
ОтветитьI see a lot of people trying to PARK using the accelerator pedal as the thing that controls the speed.... NO. Parking should be done on a steady throttle pedal pressure and the clutch pedal used to control the speed. Practicing reverse parking will help with clutch control. Too many lazy people drive forward into spaces (which is dangerous as you have to reverse out)
ОтветитьThere is always the option (if you can sense you are going to stall) to dip the clutch a bit below the bite point and increase revs and then try again.
ОтветитьI have seen a video of a man attempting to launch a car without hearing aid at 6000 rpm. The car had been in a shop for a new clutch, and was in 4 weeks later again.
When they disassembled that clutch it looked like someone had ripped the gears into tiny little shreds. Even his drivetrains (FWD) were starting to melt at the seams.
The car I currently drive has quite a sharp bitepoint, driving off of junctions takes time or it gets very janky.
Thank you very much for this info really needed it
ОтветитьYay..... I'm learning driving lessons and tips from the great Oscar Piestri🎉🎉
ОтветитьVery good information even for me while driving for 5 years, I noticed by disengaging the clutch I often feel an uncomfortable push forward and then backwards. I was blaming it on the clutch but it's all to blame on me. Thanks for the video
ОтветитьI passed my test at the end of April this year and I have such bad driving anxiety sometimes and it’s MAINLY about stalling. It puts the fear of god into me when I stall and I feel like everyone’s looking at me 😭 the lack of confidence part of this video was so accurate. I feel like everyone drives so fast and I constantly feel pressure to GO. If I have to wait at traffic lights or a busy junction, I always feel so much pressure by the person behind me to just go, but I’m trying to get over that. This video was so helpful. I currently stall at least once or twice every time I drive but it’s not because I can’t do it, it’s just because I’m so anxious. But I can do it, and so can all of you ❤

ОтветитьHello Sir,I'm sorry I always ask a lot but I guess that helps a lot,well...about pressing the gas pedal.
Should I always press the "gas pedal" before the lifting the clutch until the "bitting point"? Please help me,thank you.
So you put the clutch in when breaking and changing gear?
I worry so bad about stalling at a junction or roundabout and getting hit
You can damage your clutch
Ответитьwhenever i'm learning with my dad, I rarely stall but when my family are also in the car I stall abit more often. I don't feel any extra pressure when driving with passengers so could there be another reason or am I just gaslighting myself into thinking I don't feel pressure?
ОтветитьI've been wondering why my car, a 2005 Ford Focus, stalls at junctions even after raising the clutch to the biting point. Now, I understand it's because I'm not adding an gas. I drive my instructor's with no issue, probably because it's a recent car.
Many thanks for this video.
thanks for the advice. focus on what im doing stay calm and dont get distracted by my as**le instructor who doesnt really help
ОтветитьLove this guy lol better teacher then all these instructors
ОтветитьWow this actually helped me tremendously. A lot of people assume I’m driving a manual bc I’m young but now I’m the only person I know my age who can and does drive a stick 😭
Ответить😂 that demonstration of a chicken flapping
ОтветитьNice thank you so much
ОтветитьUsually i never stall in my work van or in another car but in my moms car i cant drive smoothly idk if its the car or me i just got my license for 3 weeks but its the only car giving me troubles (toyota yaris 3 cylinder)
ОтветитьThese videos helped me a ton. I only drove VW turbo diesels since 2017 until this past summer, now i got a mk7.5 sportwagen 1.8t 6spd manual. These videos helped me alot especially giving little more gas and holding the clutch at bite point a weeny bit longer then usual. Im soo used to the diesel torque where i just go to clutch and let off without any gas. Anyways thx soo much
Ответитьwhat a man! so helpful in all of his videos
ОтветитьI just watch your videos to learn your accent not driving 😂
ОтветитьBest instructor, very clear communication and helpful. I passed my driving license (manual) on 2022 deecember. Only drove autos afterwards, therefore when I sat back in manual rental I was rusty which caused me to question my skills and confidence. Your videos helped me a lot to feel more confident and understand manual better! Maybe will buy a manual now as well, so much more control and fun.
ОтветитьThank you so much for the encouragement.. I am one person who lacks confidence in driving a manual car. I have been driving an Automatic for 6 years now and decided to learn the manual again. If the car stalls on the roundabout or traffic light I completely forget everything and I feel so embarrassed.

ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьI had a great instructor, more than just teaching me how to drive he made me more confident.
ОтветитьThe no confidence guy is me all the time 😂😂😂
ОтветитьIf you engage the clutch you’ll never stall
ОтветитьYou are a gem for us! Stay happy always! Lots of love ♥🥰😍
Ответитьyesterday, i stalled so badly, kids were laughing at me 😰
ОтветитьThank you for clear explanation ❤
ОтветитьThanks bro, appreciate it
Ответить🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣that chicken interpretation caught me off guard,
ОтветитьAll your videos are so helpful, super informative and definitely GOOD 😊 thank you!
ОтветитьI had lost my confidence after stalling 4-5 times in a row but after watching your videos i haven’t stalled yet, other ppl should watch this video and practice as much as they can! And thanks to this video i gained my confidence back! Ty for everything! ❤
