the second one who did the high notes is actually a rapper

also this is from a competition show they were a part of with a bunch of other kpop boy groups where they HAD to sing/rap live since they were being judged on it, as well as their overall performance (they won the competition as well)

stray kids is literally a a k-pop group, meaning that they were trained for stability, because they have to sing while performing the dance aspect of the song.

Stray kids never lipsync they always perform live and felix always makes people doubt if its that real voice or not but try to dig in all their performances you will see him more do that

Felix wasn’t lip syncing, his voice is actually that deep. You can tell the entire thing is recorded live bc near the end I.N’s voice cracked.

I'm sorry, man. People got really offended/weirdly proud about the blond's vocals. I also believe it was lip sync. Those mics are really bad at picking up on the pitch of his voice so even when he sings live he sometimes chooses to be quiter than the playback to spare our ears.

Felix's vocal range is ridiculous. I seriously doubt Kingdom, a show where K pop groups are facing off against each other, Is going to allow lip syncing when the competitions end goal is to win based on skills while performing.

The guy being dragged has an even deeper voice actually (like he can reach deeper) and all those guys keep up the perfect pitch during even faster choreographies - they’ve literally been training half their lives to do that and not get out of breath.. they’ve been accused of lip syncing (especially when they rap during high stamina choreographies) and at several occasions they just paused on purpose with the singing or hit random notes on their instruments to prove they are actually always singing live
That’s KPop and idol training for you
However the training and their schedules are hard so their health usually isn’t great and just earlier this year an idol from a different group selfunalived so as impressive as the skills are - I don’t recommend the training it needs to get there…

Oh no. That part was very much not lip sync. Felix voice is just naturally that deep and it was 100% live. He's just that good.

Just so you know, idols are trained to sing stably whilst RUNNING ON A TREADMILL. So, what is hard to most singers and rappers is actually pretty easy comparatively. I know this for sure because I was writing a book on a fake kpop group and spoke to an ex-idol who offered to show me. He was going at a full run and his voice barely wavered as he sang. That's why kpop is different, and it does kind of annoy me when vocal coaches from areas who don't use these kinds of techniques flat out state it's lip-syncing. Please people, do some basic cultural research before reacting to stuff like this as many, if not most, idols sing 100% live with a backing track. There are so many Music Removed videos that you can look at for proof.

I love seeing new people be confused by Felix’ voice- it really is that deep! Btw that epic ending, which I recently saw and brought me to this video, was sung by one of Stray Kids’ main rappers, Han, which surprised everyone watching.

And would you believe they placed last from this performance? I still can't believe it. I personally think people (judges) didn't grasp the story they told, which is truly a shame since its so beautiful and layered.
