Changing timings in the BIOS is frustrating and time-consuming, especially for temperature-sensitive timings. Every single change requires a few minutes for the temperatures to go up again after firing TestMem5. How is it possible to enable edits in the OS? I have ASRock B760 Riptide with an option to turn "Realtime Memory Timing" on, but it doesn't work (shows disabled in ASRock Timing Configurator), even though I have memory integrity turned off in Win11.

My 6600 gskill hynix dont go bellow 390 tRFC and 290 TRFCPB on asus z690f which seems really weird. Hat pretty much the same tight timings and on intel latency benchmark i hit 55ns and on aida 57ns. Seems pretty bad considering it passed memtest at 300% and ycruncher. Running a pretty good 13700k but the motherboard maybe the problem.

Hi, i have G-skill 6600 CL34, looks like they are A-die, do you think that i can follow what you did here? I mean you said that should go higher in frenquency and not that low in timing so..
But by the way my mobo is an msi carbon wifi (z690 12700kf), good mobo but not specially designed for ram oc either, so i'm looking for something "simple" to get more out of my rams in daily uses, mainly gaming :).

Hope it was readable because i'm from belgian and there we do not natively speak english, sadge ^^

Thanks in advance for any kind of answer, have a nice day and thanks for all your knowledge!

Are all Hynix DDR5 kits Hynix M-Die? Or is there different Hynix dies for DDR5? Some mobo manufactures have DDR5 memory compatibility kit lists and they say the die for each kit but some kits say "Hynix" then some kits say "Hynix M-Die"... Is that just a screw up on their part and they're the same Hynix Die? I've been looking through these lists because I want to buy myself a Hynix DDR5 kit for overclocking but want to make sure I get the right die.

I think I got omega screwed on my CPU's memory controller or something's seriously wrong with my board from looking at this. I got a Dark Kingpin as a prize, a 12900k, and a Hynix kit that's 5600Mhz/CL32-36-36-76 at default XMP. Even at 1.4v I keep getting memory errors at a mere 6000Mhz, all else the same as XMP.

Having difficulty getting my hynix 6400 CL32 chips stable in games. Doing exactly what you do here I can get things pretty tight sub timings within two ticks of yours and still pass 1000% memtestpro and 1 hour of TM5 at 6933mbps 34 40 40 28 @1.55v, Cpu MC @ 1.37v, SA @1.3v. Giant box fan pointed at the board so seeing RAM Temps never go over 50c.
However despite being stable in benchmarks, I will get memory error blue screens or directx crashes in game sometime between as soon as 10 minutes, to as long as 10 hours other days. Lowered it to 6800mbps and not her changes. Increased to 1.56v dram and if anything it may have got worse. After this video I'm now trying 6667mbps but it is frustrating that things run at 6933mbps and sometimes for an extremely long time and others it doesn't.

Not the video for that but speaking of finding limits, have you tried using PYPrime2.2 instead of all the other "Pi" benchmarks? It's far more modern than those and gives great and quick results.

It's great for the whole aspect of overclocking the memory so to say, FCLK, UCLK, Ring bus, MT/s etc etc I find it very nifty and (obviously) better than Aida64 as well; just recently I've tightend my 3800 Rev B for fun, and got a consistent 120 MS reduction there, given how every other variable didn't change it's just fantastic at testing the memory timings as well. I assume you could incorporate it into such videos for a quick check of the parameters as well.

Edit: lol just saw the "Corsair DDR5 invitational overclocking competition part 1: PYPrime LN2 sessions 1&2" video tho 2.2 is better than 2 imo. Honestly it's great to see newer and better benchmarking software being added in general, guess I am just happy there's some alternatives.

Isn't it helpful to punch in timings in the BIOS as early as possible so that the board has the opportunity to retrain? Won't that allow for iteratively better timings? Or does that only apply to the primaries?

The theoretical max. bandwidth of single-rank 6800 Mbit/s DDR5 should be around 110 GB/s, right? How can you reach this in AIDA if not all clock ticks are used for sending data? Is there some channel interleaving going on with the two 32bit channels on one DIMM?

ohh man you also have to look at what makes your cpu minimal how high and low it drives what you drive together with treds always count from 4166mhz these are 4 6 7 9 12 14 15 16 17 timings what you need and higher look what it is lowest and drives the highest number of times you can drive double with timing and radio that's what you can do at the limit with ram if the only 6666 have bad luck wrong software lock you then have to bring the cpu to the limit on the ram lvl to max and then you can if 4x stable 8x stable on cpu timing up to turbo 5.4ghz is 4.62 5.5= 4.63 5.6 4.64 and so on every clock with mhz 150 at radio speed 100 on cpu and 150% mhz set at 350% mhz on ram cpu cpu is at 200 mhz klock high at the limit are 12x ram or 8x ram that you need for max 350 are 150 and 200 position i have that i just don't need it because i drive 4gb at 12x 6x there have 4166 at 12x the same 16.400mhz together i then makes the more power 6 cores 12t are as with 8+ too together 32 cores 8c 16 t = 24 and and from 30 cores you are at max 6200mhz do ddr3 ddr4 ddr5 2133mhz max normal 30 timings from 32 cores you are at 6400mhz ddr4 ddr3 ddr5 the end is at 2133mhz 6200mhz at pu so.ghz c5.7 ist the balanced at 44x radio at 200mhz bus speed if a main core runs at 4.64ghz at 5.7 from 10 nm and 3.7mhz the smaller the higher the cpu has to boost for the lvl all the more cores is unfortunately like that So 4 core one core to keep what 128 cores do or 32 cores do 64 cores do double the calculations yourself and you have to start low 8x24 if not goes from 9900k lvl 14nm or whatever for 32 cores with treads at 3.7ghz to 44x max start with low x radio work high with tuner destop test what's up with ram max i'll tell you only with 256 core 256 cash used 48 gb ram 48 used and 24tb you get 8 ram at 16.400mhz otherwise you don't have to build that simulate without emu on ram that is limit 12 x ram at 4166 or 8 x ram 16.400mhz that's the same with 1.48 pipeline 1.86 with 6 cores 12t cpus with 8 cores 1.88-9 ppl also 1.96 6 cores 1.98 v if you don't even get 4 full at 4.75 ghz in the car getckteten yourself oc ubd self-adjusted ram boost amount that you have to switch tminig to get to the limit up to 1.96. with 6 c with 8c 1.98volt ppl or ram 1.48v board with 4x ram that is only 1.44v to 14.6 volt 6 c 8 core count up you need 32 cores together on 32 for ddr4 limit 6400 at 16 17 timings and 6 7 boot at 288 max = 256 core with 32 core lvl 128 with = and 64 too and below that everything is just 32 is ddr4 to get max try with x32 only to start testing. with new ones from 14 nm at 3.6 3.7 to get 5.4 ghz or 12nm 10 whatever you can calculate yourself look at your timkng that you can drive 64000mhz is 17 timing with ram so 6600mhz 19 timing no 44x you are at 8460 mhz at x44 at 200radio cpu 196 i drive radio for 4.4 4.75ghz turbothat is 5.7 at 1 0 nm 3.7ghz calculate down or hoh who is smaller nm intel only has 100 at 10nm so is the x88 lvl can you never do it with 4 with 2 yes ddr4 only with auto on and so x32 switched and turns itself overspanned to x44 not set nut tuning and see the right timing when busting what you have and ram over 6600 mhz limit you have to drive balanced on x44 that is not possible you would have to block ramslotz drivers 2x at 4 so that nothing goes on it dumnes board sorry .think about it simulating rsm disc with tuner on cpu ssd connected or only ssd with tuner speed on your lvl ram endlvl bosdt then your radio as stop pippline rest for power so easy why don't you all check how it works and you are experts my face hey sorry I explained it to you end.
