Pretty intense experiance, but character building for sure. Everything works after several reboots. But I have found that Prime Movies will not stream using a VPN? Question: Is it possible to toggle the PIA VPN on and off without rebooting the pfsense appliance? I disabled the VPN port, that did not go well.

My isp uses a vlan id 141 on the modem. So for it to connect to a router, the router should be set to have a vlan id of 141 on the wan port. i dont see that on the menu's in your video. Can you configure this in the setup?

I have a question about the performance of using USB 3 (5 of 10gbps) or thunderbird (USB4) ports for adding a 2.5 of 10g ethernet port adapters. Do they work as well as direct attached Intel constollers on the motherboard or a PCI card? I am thinking of using one of these mini PC's for a pfsense firewall and need 3 ethernet ports and most don't even have 2. Will these USB-Ethernet adapters work well on pfsense or TrueNas? Has Anyone done any videos on this?

Hi, thanks for the great video but have a question probably dumb but if I plug ethernet directly into my switch instead of "a" computer, how do I access pfsense webgui? Will it still access from the static ip address that I enter into pfsense setup for LAN?

I''ve only had 8mb ram on my router until I found an asus one with 16 at the dump. It was enough to get openwrt and gargoyle running, better than stock but not pfSense. It would be dreamlike going through all those settings.

I ordered an HP corporate mini PC off ebay to build my own router with OpenWRT lol. The day after I ordered a Pi 4B for that exact purpose. I guess now I can use the pi for home automation stuff lol.
