Excellent bike for running a whorehouse
ОтветитьFor 17k you’d think they would include a quick shifter and a steering dampener.
Ответитьjust got one of these bikes today and cant wait to ride it
ОтветитьIt is not necessary For the screen to cycle through everything. Just a few seconds for the fuel pump and you can start it up.
ОтветитьI feel like the foot peg position doesn’t match the upper body position. I feel like they need to be a little lower and more forward. Like 1inch down and 1 forward
Ответить“in Europe” 😁
ОтветитьJust love the look of this Carbon FTR, thinking it be great for me... as I have ZERO need for M10 155 hp anyway
ОтветитьGod thats a gorgeous bike. That screen would tick me off though haha.
ОтветитьMuch more bike than I need but that has nothing to do with anything. Another abysmal factory exhaust that will cost a large chunk to recycle. I get that manufactures are constrained by regulations but what’s the point if most people are going to yeet the whole system immediately
ОтветитьWhy do they make the exhausts look so Beefy and then sound so crappy.
ОтветитьI must say that is a very good looking motorcycle for a naked bike
ОтветитьVery quiet exhaust
ОтветитьI dunno, might be splitting hairs here. I rode an FTR carbon at the Indian ride today. Sure, it had a lot of power, but the transmission felt clunky as hell to me. Also, it didn’t turn into curves as fast as my Triumph. Truth be known, I preferred the Indian bobber. It still had 100 hp, and was all comfortable to ride. Still, the wheelie factor of the FTR brought a smile to my face. My favorite bike was their big full sized, water cooled dresser style bikes. I guess I’ve gotten old and like driving a couch down the highway.😂
Ответить17k bike and has the ugly 1980’s turn signals , should be LED’s , and that license plate holder just kills it for me ! Plate / signals should be under the seat ! For their TOL bike…..it’s lacking ! Other than that it looks bad ass !
ОтветитьThat's my idea of a motorsickle!
ОтветитьI wonder what the reliability will be like indian is the only bike that was rated below Harley
ОтветитьFirst bike 🤣?
ОтветитьIndian!!!!.. to much ego. I dont like this i don't like that. Plenty of ppp like all the ftr. Looks badass .
ОтветитьChillin at about 130 on the highway... Adjust the suspension a little bit and she'll be perfect... Haha... constant on the throttle, oscillating??? Maybe you're just really weak. I've never noticed that.
ОтветитьI wouldn't trade my 2023 Indian FTR 1200 Sport for anything!!! Why rain mode in the dry??? Strange! My FTR corners and rips better than any other naked I've ridden!!
ОтветитьIt’s an American motorcycle it’s not metric so it’s going to be quirky. I am taking delivery on a FTR tomorrow. As always great video.
Ответитьwont you want to try the new ducati scrambler, the 2023 model
ОтветитьI test rode this bike the other day and I 100% agree a quick shifter would make this bike awesome AF.
ОтветитьIs the heat generated by the engine unbearable? Great video otherwise!
ОтветитьMy 2022 FTR Carbon oscillates. It’s kinda weird
ОтветитьWhere's the gas tank?
ОтветитьIt's gorgeous 😮
ОтветитьThe bike "surges". Especially in cruise control.
I love it though.
Dunno why you wobbling at 80, my base will go 125, no problem
ОтветитьThe MT 09 is better and the 09 sp is even better
ОтветитьI recently tested a 2023 FTR Sport, and I thought it was superb. Mild mannered and comfortable riding around town, and it comes alive when riding through twisty country roads having great handling and loads of instant power available in any gear, very confidence inspiring. The FTR can be a hooligan, but it also is happy taking it easy if you just want to leisurely sweep around the countryside enjoying the view. It does generate some heat in slow moving traffic, but no more so than my Ducati Monster 821 used to, and I didn't find it excessive. It is a bit expensive, but then so are many bikes from other premium brands, and it's different not a boring clone without personality.
I loved it, in my opinion it looks superb, and it's great fun. The FTR R Carbon is top of my purchase list.
What helmet are you rocking there!
ОтветитьIve driven both the Ftr and Mt10 and i much prefer the low end torque of the ftr
ОтветитьMy 2022 has never had wiggling in the handlebars.
ОтветитьAny experienced rider i need your HELP!!! Im looking to get a bike to do uber eats, il be riding 7days a week 8-12 hours a day. My market is full of drivers so getting a bike is my last bet to keep doing this. PLEASE Help a brother out and give me some advise. What beginner bike would be best for this??
ОтветитьGSX-8s 👀👀❓
ОтветитьHe's been doing first rides for eight years and reviewed over 100 motorcycles but uses the term "throttling" instead of fueling. Come on guy.
ОтветитьYou guys should do a review on the honda nxr 160 bros
ОтветитьOne of these in Europe did a 1 mile wheelie at 143mph setting a record lol.
ОтветитьI’m sure Chase’s opinions and observations of the copy he tested are valid.
But, I have owned a 2019 FTR S for a couple of years now and it’s been pretty flawless on the negatives Chase mentions. Re the clutch, I might just be insensitive to it, since I have a BMW R1200GSA whose clutch seems to engage at random places in the throw, and I’ve had to calibrate my clutch hand to work not off of muscle memory, but actually feeling engagement. I’ve definitely never dealt with the surging Chase mentions, though I do think that at lower throttle, my FTR is a little “snatchy” on and off the gas.
I find the switchgear and controls, and actually pretty much every part of the bike to be of excellent quality and workmanship. Pretty much every part on the bike is solid and weighty. I will admit that I think the switchgear is a bit over-complicated: too many stalks and triggers for my liking. But Indian has made it so you can either use the touchscreen, or the joysticks and other affordances to interact with the firmware (I generally don’t screw with it anyway). My main issue has been with winter gloves: I’m constantly accidentally “flashing” the headlight due to that trigger/switch’s location.
The bike is a hoot to ride around town and in the country, though my 18” wheel version is def a bit more of a fast/powerful cruiser/poser than a hooner, but so am I (though I don’t care for actual cruiser bikes). It could be a bit more comfortable in the legs for me. As Chase mentions, the pegs are ever so slightly “snug” and I’m tucked in the legs just a little more than I’d like. Depends on the boots and pants I’m wearing as to how much it really bothers me, though.
They mostly fixed engine heat issues on the 17” wheel bikes, as I understand it. Mine will definitely cook your right thigh to a crisp on a warm day. Kind of nice in the winter though 🤡.
Every single person who has commented on the bike has talked about how it is one of the most unique and beautiful bikes out there. It is really in a class of its own, IMO, and I dig it a lot.
Let me get started by saying, Man it's been awhile and I haven't missed much.... From the looks of it, this channel is on life support.... I don't even see a reason to watch anymore unless you ride a bike I might buy...
ОтветитьSimilar price to a MT10. And when thats considered, there is no competition.
ОтветитьOscillating throttle? Yuck! I would not like that at all.
ОтветитьBeautiful bike, too pricey.
ОтветитьWhy buy this over a Streetfighter V2?
ОтветитьBeginner rider question should the lack of tech nannies on the indian scout rogue be a deal breaker for a beginner bike. My riding experience is basically a yamaha moto 4 when I was a tike then a 1975 yamaha 250 Enduro I rode off road for quite a few years
ОтветитьOh dear, too many electronics on a bike is not such a good thing after all.
ОтветитьThis or the guzzi? I assume they compare power, brembo, ohlins, weight, "cruiser"...
Ответить
