LG C2 OLED Review - Still Awesome for PC Gaming?

My lg pose 42 (same panel as c2) randomly disonnects from the pc. Is very annoying

It would be cool to see reviews of the Panasonic lz1500 42', very similar and even better in some aspects.

Can u recommend a monitor or two, 27 or 32 “. I don’t do games but into photography and use photoshop & Lightroom so I need something that displays sharp visuals and accurate colors. Love your videos. Thanks

What is overdrive mode lg c2?

With the prices of computer monitors even with burn in etc.. risk. It's a no Brainer. Price has been as low as $700 at times recently

I bought the LG C2 OLED specifically to use as my primary display for Flight Simulator 2020. With my MSI Gaming X Trio 4090 card, the visuals are just amazing in 4K HDR on the C2. No regrets here!

600 nits is kinda low

After using the 48c1 for almost 2 years, I got the 42c2 just now. The 48c1 is now relegated to strictly watching the shows and movies in my office/gaming room. 42c2 will now be my main monitor. Picked it up for around $750.

I just managed to get my hands on one of these for $340 US. An absolute steal! And damn was I blown away by it, Best image quality I've ever seen... I'll never go back to LCD

So LG C2 OLED IS a TV, not a monitor? No wonder I couldn't find this "monitor" on Amazon.

Will my computer detect 5.1 with this TV? I have a computer connected to my tv using eArc for my sound bar. My computer only detects 2.1...... Is this because the TV is old? i think it is a 2013 LG 55 4k 60hz. Or is it software related through AMD? I have a 480. Maybe i need that new 7900 xtx?

Is that lava wallpaper HDR? Is HDR wallpaper a thing? I’m considering my first OLED monitor and this is blowing my tiny mind a little bit.

just got one for $721. Its perfect for a gamer.

Wouldn’t recommend using this as a desktop monitor, it’s brutality detailed and vivid and as the gentleman says it’s not sharp on text. You definitely need to be away from it unless you intend to turn all the settings down which sort of defeats what attracts you to it. Headaches and motion sickness ensured being just the width of a desk away from it.

once you try an oled, you never go back to va, ips or any bs qled or other led backlit displays. Forget about the tests, nitts, etc, go and check it for yourself. Can`t compare.

is anyone coding with this tv and findind the text too unconfortable? is it worth as a studend who does 70% study 30% gaming on the pc ?

I'm still concerned about burn-in when it comes to playing games because of static HUD elements. I can play certain games for several hours or more, so yeah, not sure if I want to pay the price for the c2

I want this exact tv to be 240hz higher brightness by 50 percent and better glare coating, that's all i want.

Just ordered one of these from JB HiFi (australia) for $1090AUD, absolute bargain for oled, plus $400 cheaper that the Aorus 48", which based on your reviews, i think this will be better unit. cheers guys these were the best reviews i could find, definitely helped me in deciding

He says "I can't recommend 60hz anymore." Not everybody is a framerate whore you know. Nothing wrong with 60hz.

The only thing im bothered about is having the rgb fans on my case reflect onto the c2 screen and being able to see it whilst gaming?

Just picked up the C2 42" for 900usd before tax 2 Days ago for PC gaming only to replace the a2 48 I was using.

The color fringing, it's not really noticeable. If you're really looking for it then you might see it.

You can also use web browsers in full screen mode (press F11) to mitigate burn in

I am having such trouble deciding between the Alienware QDOLED and this. I love curve and ultrawide, but this is cheaper and bigger and I might not care about the lack of curve given the extra size I get. But then, I'm not sure how well my rig will run 4k so I may end up just playing ultrawide anyways... Agh

42" is the maximum you'd want on a desk. 48" is great if you mount it to your wall.

I just got this model as well. Using it now on my games ang movies I just realized how much I've been missing all this time. That black levels are totally insane and the contrast was nothing like I've experienced before from normal IPS and VAs or my cheapo QLED monitor and I thought I couldn't get any better than that looking back then. I was right in my decision to forego my plans to get another GPU upgrade and get this LG OLED TV instead and I got a real good deal on it too.

Is it possible that I get hdr from the lg c2 without the HDMI deep color because I have to switch it off so that the ps5 ambilight from Philips hue runs, but I would like to keep hdr thanks
