Sadly Phantom Rider is known for two things: Being in the crappy Ghost Rider movie and raping Mockingbird who was Hawkeye’s fiancé at the time and it was a different guy at the time.

As a major fan of slade, i watch this video all the time and as asmr haha. I wish there were more videos out their about slade..its the small things like this that help me stay sane in life haha.

And what happened to Cater Slade's Ghost Rider on horseback that appears in the Ghost Rider movie, riding a black horse engulfed in flames?

Why is there a white version and a version with a skull full of flames?
Are they the same character or are they different?
The two are called Phantom Rider or not?

So marvel just took this guy and made moon knight and ghost rider, is what im assuming at least.

Started reading Ghost Rider with the Johnny Blaze version, but the cowboy later became my favorite.
Love his design and the mix of western, super hero and horror elements.

I read a cowboy Ghost Rider story where a School teacher Is the Ghost Rider and he meets up with his Sherriff Brother, but GR gets killed and his brother take over the identity of Ghost Rider.

I remember this comic as it appeared in one of the Western titles like Rawhide Kid or Two Gun Kid . As a kid since comics was a hobby , I tried my hand at drawing comics myself . The Ghost Rider was easy to draw . I contacted Gary Fredrich on Utube about the Ghost Rider and why wasn't it available in Marvel Masterworks , he said cuz of a bad rift between him and Lee prevented him from publishing it .

Ayers was the man. I knew him primarily as an inker.

I was going to start my own Western comic but it never got it gears started.

Nicely put together narrative but the Background Music and SFX Noises are overbearing. Sound mixing with headphones on would be better because you would know if you drowning out your voice background audio.

As a kid in London I loved Hell Rider, I would love to read the stories again , I seem to remember that it was physically bigger than the other comics ?

Seriously now, why were so many Golden Age heroes so lame compared to Superman? I mean, so many of these guys simply don't go as far over the top as the Last Son of Krypton -- as if their creators didn't dare get as hog-wild as Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. How come?

Great video, gotta be honest didn't know much about Dick Ayers. I new he was an early Marvel artist and connected to the silver age GHOST RIDER, I wasn't aware he was such prolific artist over a long career, legend... thanks again for a great video..

I can’t really hear the speech over the music.

they did him no good in west coast avengers. at least he has a good part in the first Ghost Rider movie which is awesome
